One of the best places to have dinner in town. Great menus, not over-priced. Surrounded by old houses in an unspoiled traditional german City.

Despite the food looking simple but fairly appetising, the service was awful, it took ages to even get somebody's attention let alone getting anyone to come over and take the order and for simple food such as jacket potatoe, it was quite dear. The only good thing was being able to sit immediately next to the castle but I wouldn't come here again.

We had a wonderful time at Goldenen Adler or Golden Eagle. The service was great and very friendly. The food was traditional German and delicious! We sat by the front window and had a wonderful view of Berg Wertheim and the churches. We plan to come again!

I stayed in the hotel so was convenient to dine here. Food quality and portions were amazing. Again the great schnitzel was on my menu with asparagus and hollandese sauce. I tried their draft beer as well as the local Silvaner. Both recommended. I would also recommend the Holunder liquor (make sure you are not allergic to elderflower as it is made from it). In summary there are chaper places to dine in the town, but the location and the view from this great, sunny Terrace makes it worthwhile.

Otto and his crew have created a great restaurant, wonderful choice , consistent quality and always nice polite and unintrusive service. In summer it's nice to sit in the garden too, and start your meal off with a 'hugo' I come back here time and time, whenever I am in town as I an guaranteed a great meal with plenty of seasonal surprises on the menu thrown in

Every time I am in Wertheim i visit la mamma. Preferably I choose from the seasonal menu. The dishes are nicely prepared and fresh ingredients are very tasty. The value for money is good. The service friendly and quick. After six times never disappointed so far.

I had the currywurst with fries, and it was very average. The Rosé I had was average too. Nothing spectacular. There was not a lot on the menu but if you are just there to get your stomach filled, it will do. The service was quick and the waitresses were efficient. They were friendly and responded appropriately to requests for recommendations.

Went out with Colleagues to have a taste of America in Germany .. and also had a American friend to confirm whether this tasted like one. Had a good menu with various options.. Burgers and Fries etc.. I enjoyed my Chicken Plater which came with a good portion of fries and a mix of various chicken fries .. The serving was definitely American since none of us was able to stuff everything from our plate into our stomach .. ;-) .. The ambiance was very much american with quite a good american brand logos .. Overall it was time well spent ..
