If you are looking for the real deal of Mexican food, then this is the place. Forget the overpriced casino Mex-maybe restaurants and head for this cafe. Located just off the main road, this is where the locals eat, and eat well. The building isn't much to look at, but then again it's a trailer in the desert. The inside is clean and the staff are very friendly. Food is excellent, cheap and very generous. Don't fill up on the free chips or your won't be able to finish your plate.

Who would have expected to find fine Italian dining in West Wendover, NV in a casino resort? I didn't expect it but how pleasantly surprised we were. Not only was the food outstanding, but the service was exceptional. Never did we want for anything. As the Ice Tea started down, it was quietly refilled, as the fresh hot bread was consumed, it was quietly replaced. The meal itself was on par with the best my wife and I have had. I had the Italian Sausage and peppers. The Sausage comes from Chicago and you receive 2 full links plus pasta and peppers and onions in a light marinara sauce. If you find your way to West Wendover definitely head to the Montego Bay Resort and Romanza Italian restaurant.

West Wendover, Nevada is a casino town that caters to people who fly chartered air flights in for 3 days at a time. We did not expect to find one of the best restaurants that we have ever eaten at there. What an outstanding surprise we received. The service was impeccable, and the food was OUTSTANDING! My wife had King Crab Legs and I had the 16 ounce Prime Rib that was closer to 22 ounces. They age all of their beef a minimum of 28 days and you could cut my nearly two inch thick prime rib with a butter knife. The Prime Rib was served with baked potato and steamed vegetables, along with a house salad. I did eat the salad, but the potato and vegetables had to take the back seat the delicious prime rib. If you are going to West Wendover make the Rainbow Resort and The Steak House a definite stop,

Don't expect anything fancy here or gourmet sandwiches, etc. club sandwich was good, fries weren't. BLT salad was iceberg lettuce, previously cooked bacon, fresh cucumber, hard boiled egg. All fresh but without much flavor. If you're a foodie you won't like it. If you like basic American food, it's not bad.

As you may know this is my go to place in Wendover. Why not take friends to it also. No surprises here just great food. Shrimp and tenderloin for wife ribeye for us two guys and New York strip for his wife. All was good but the strip little over done but they brought out another one that was fine

Yes, it's a Subway and the sandwiches were typical of those found in every other "good" Subway around the country. What made this one special is the extra nice staff that were working. They greeted us and were very pleasant.

Seems each year we go eat here and find new ownership. The food was good even though limited. Since it is on the Utah side of Wendover, they do not serve beer with the meals. However the staff is friendly and it is a good change of pace.

It looks like this place has changed name again. It's now, "Los Compadres Mexican Restaurant." We read the reviews and decided to give it a try. Looking at the outside, we probably would have passed by. It's a portable trailer; similar to what you would see as a school temporary building. However, the inside looks pretty good. Service was very good, as was the food. We had the tacos, tostadas and chimichanga. Price was also very reasonable.

Although the Oceano Buffet served the typical Casino buffet food, the presentation and quality of the food surpassed the best of Las Vegas. Lunch buffet had something for everyone and the service was exceptional.
