We went to Priyut Kholostyaka for dinner, which translates as Bachelors Shelter, a modern cream cave with a green apple on each table instead of flowers! They gave us each a electronic tablet with the menu loaded (in english as well) complete with photos, so we could choose what we wanted and put the items in our basket. We then rang a bell and the waiter took our order! All worked beautifully with a good choice of veggie delights and salmon tartar – yum!

Cuban restaurants, every where in the world, Cuban dance halls, every where in Europe. But a Cubanise bar, dance hall, food in such an intimate location, in Kazan. Just go in, don t wait for the music to embrace you. Expect more than eating food which is more than average least to say. But try the Cuban drinks, puros, and indulge yourself with the music and dancing couples who are dancing better than their Cuban counterparts. Everyone is friendly, such an international environment that s to feel yourself as if you were in Cuba with your comrades. Never to forget the feeling of music, dance and taste of friendship in one of the freezing nights of Kazan. But never mind, you have been to Cuba just minutes ago, with Che and friends. Rest is history.

I just LOVE Malabar! I always know in advance that whatever food I'll choose, it'll be deliciously lip-licking. But not only food is great, the ambiance and the service are always impeccable here. The servers are polite and friendly and explain nuances of each dish patiently if you're a newcomer and remember some of your favorite dishes if you're a frequenter.
They've got new positions on the menu, I've tried a couple of them and should tell you it's as delicious as it only can get! So go and try it for yourself.
If you wanna experience heaven on earth in terms of taste, plan a visit to Malabar!;)

Our group was particularly interested in trying out the horse meat, so they tried out a soup that had it and they were absolutely taken by the experience.
I tried their salad - the crunchiest ever! Fresh and delicious! Pelminis are also amazing, fair-priced and easy to get around in their menu, which has English translation.
Staff was very friendly, great beer selection - overall great experience! Would go back any day.

We came here whilst staying in Kazan. We were recommended to try Tatar food and this place has a small but very delicious Tatar menu. We really enjoyed our dinner, the fish tank in the restaurant is great. Service was very good - the waitress' English wasn't fluent but she tried very hard to help us. Highly recommended!

The coffee house is very comfortable. I like that usually there is a lot of tidy young people with fair faces among the customers.
The atmosphere is not noisy, despite the fact that people communicate and play calm games.
Pleasant soft music, a good playlist.
Under the ceiling is a TV that shows movies of National Geographic (something like that). Kids really like it.
They have a lot of sorts of coffee and prepare different coffee drinks. Coffee is very good. For example, latte is really hot, whereas at other coffee houses I used to have warm (even if I asked a hot).
The prices of coffee are quite reasonable. There are different cakes, expensive, but very tasty and apparently natural. For children you can get a tea or a juice from fresh fruits.

I went here with a few friends and we all appreciated the relaxed atmosphere, tasty food (and good range of options) and friendly service. They made us feel very welcome. The only thing which wasn't great were the size of some of the portions. The pasta comes in very exciting designer plates with very little room for the actual food. My friend had to go home and have lunch after eating there. You just have to be careful what you choose though. The pizzas were lovely.
The only other thing that had us worried was their coffee deal: a free coffee for a kiss (I think I'm remembering the terms correctly). Nothing would spoil a lunch so much as two people leaping on each other for a free coffee (but then I'm British... public displays of affection? The horror!) Happily, no-one was feeling romantic.

We live just across from the road from this place so we've been going since it opened. Plus points: the atmosphere - it's relaxed and informal and they usually play background style music rather than the aggressive dance stuff that is so often blasting out in restaurants. Secondly, the speciality teas are great. The fruit tea is delicious. Thirdly, the service is very friendly. There are often very few people in when we go and the staff pounce on you with compulsory French greetings and a wave of friendly helpfulness.
The problem is the menu. From the very beginning, the menu has been very limited and mostly very rich. There are often shortages which are delivered in an insouciance which doesn't really reflect the situation. A classic example - 'we've got almost everything but the chicken'. Unfortunately, chicken dishes occupy about half the menu. Dishes tend to be variations on the exact same thing with different meats. In short, if you're looking for a great meal out - it's probably not your best bet. If you're looking for a nice atmosphere, good tea and tasty desserts - it's worth a go.

We went in this restaurant and food was ok despite a bit more expensive than the average in kazan. However, the nice atmosphere was destroyed by Elmira, manager of the restaurant, who showed a disgusting behaviour. Really a poor quality service avoid the restaurantThank you for sharing your impressions of the visit to our restaurant. We apologize for everything that will make your stay with us is unpleasant. Very much hope that the next visit will cause you only have light and warm emotions.
