Varkiza (Greek: Βάρκιζα), also Alianthos (Αλίανθος), is a suburb of greater Athens forming part of the municipality of Vari-Voula-Vouliagmeni in southern Attica of the Megalo Daktylo (Large Finger). It lies approximately 2 km south of Vari, 22 km S of Athens, SW of the Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport and the Attiki Odos (numbers 6 and 62), NW of Cape Sounio, and south of the Hymettus Ring. The locality is linked with Poseidonos Avenue (GR-91), just east of Vouliagmeni.

We have had lunch with our friends in this extraordinary restaurant last Sunday. This was perfect. The sight you get on this location is incredible. We sat under the pine trees, overlooking a beautiful bay, bathing in the sun. We were with a group of 17. The food came fast and was served perfectly. The sea bass was very fresh and very naturally cooked, no excess herbs, but a fair kitchen where you can taste the flavor of the ingredients. A perfect total experience. I want to move to Vouliagmeni to be able to eat in this restaurant on a regular base (-:

First time in this restaurant and for sure I will be visiting again. The view of the sea just in front of you is fantastic such as the restaurant interior design as well. Warm environment, friendly staff and of course fantastic food. Seafood in particular and especially the salmon was great! Plenty of options on the menu from starters, salads, fish, meat and sushi! Food for everyone...

Has improved tremendously, I was very positively surprised. Yes he quality of its cuisine, the service, the attention to detail of staff, the music, the surrounding , all super. It will become my favorite place in Vouliagmeni. Has a spectacular view on the Aegean. Inside and outside on the seaside. Must visit!

Just 20 minutes from the airport, privileged located in front of the small fish port of Varkiza, with the deep blue stretching out into the distance and fishing boats bobbing in the foreground. Open every day from 9:00 in the morning until late at night, we are the ideal choice for a leisurely meal or a snack, drinks or coffee, and not only in the summer months. In winter we create the cosiest atmosphere in our main restaurant with a gently crackling fire burning in the beautiful central fireplace.

In all a very good restaurant with good space between the tables and very good service. The food was nicely served at the table. They were generous with some free sweet after including a good local liqueur. They served the best salad we had on this vacation. The fish was excellent grilled and served. It is not cheap to eat fish but this time it was worth it.

Stopped by Waffle House late in the evening for a post dinner treat and was not disappointed. There's a reason this place is busy even in the wee hours! I had the nutella bark and biscuit ice creams in a cup which came with a piece of waffle cone and they were divine! Our server treated us to on the house nutella waffle bites which were absolutely delicious. My Aunt had a very good mojito as well - ice cream AND drinks how perfect. I'd highly recommend checking this place out if you want an uber indulgent treat. It would be loved by everyone young and old.

I had a dinner in this place and unfortunately I didn’t like anything except the place: food was not really fresh as you can expect from a restaurant by the sea and bill was really expensive for what we have got. Please go away

I do not know if it is because it is summer and the chef might be in Myconos and not in Athens but this place does not remind me of anything from the previous times that it was absolutely amazing. the service was not as fast and polite as they used to be, they never asked for allergies, and most importantly the food was bad. and when i say bad i mean nobu bad. if it was from a small place in Glyfada and the prices were similar to the ones that you would get from a small place then it would be fine, but now this was bad.

One of the best seafood restaurants where everything is fresh and well cooked. We visited it on a Saturday night and enjoyed a wonderful dinner accompanied by a live orchestra. Staff are particularly polite. We ordered Greek salad, haloumi, grilled burgers and fish, which even cleansed before serve us. Our dinner was closed with wonderful sweets and seasonal fruits. Also it has a beautiful view and the place is beautifully decorated and thoughtful.
