Difficult to find place, but very well known by the locals, therefore busy. Parking space nearby.
Very friendly service and help with our choice. We both took “porco iberico”, one preparation on the barbecue and the other in the oven. Both excellent. The wine recommended by the waiter was very good and very affordable (Fonte Mocas 8.5€). As dessert I took a “strudel pera” or a pear strudel which was excellent and presented on a very nicely decorated plate.
We ended up paying 16€ per person. Worth the money!

Better known for its private party rooms and areas, this restaurant will not dissapoint. The food is good quality and it is executed in a very traditional, sometimes old fashioned manner.
Order bachalau de la casa, and you'll love bachalau forever. All the other dishes (I've dined many times and had a private party here) are good; albeit, a bit unmemorable or boring. But still good. Go without expectations. The hungry you will be overly satisfied and the demanding you will find it hard to complain when perfect marks are not attained.
The decor is nice, almost upscale traditional and the service is thoughtful.

This place is a must stop everytime we are in the area. Fantastic eatery, clean, professional, the food is wonderful, no negative points, very highly recommended place, the sea food rice and the 'mariscada' is just mouth watering, will leave you with some other pics of they lovely dishes.

The place was packed on the Sunday night when I went there. The food was quite good but the bisque was very bitter. There is a very good selection of seafood and grilled meat and poultry. The staff was not very helpful or friendly when they realized I don't speak Portuguese. I guess it was a language barrier. I asked for a plate that was listed as served for 2 people. They assured me that they will make me an individual portion but brought me food for two anyways. No complains there though. I would go back for the quality of the food served.

Ran across this restaurant (took the wrong street) right around from the bus terminal. Noticed a lot of the locals having a meal. It was outstanding. Service was excellent. Meat is cut fresh,chicken in cooler are fresh. Dessert amazing. Would highly recommend.

Its a small place, you may have to wait a bit to get a table. Nuno is a nice host and will take care of all. Tasty food at a reasonable price. My place to go for pizza when in Torrres Vedras.

Me and my wife had luch at the Taberna 22 a few times in April and May 2017. The pratos de dia were usually very nice and good value for money. Also the service was always friendly and swift.

Turned up on our first day of the holiday, 9 of us in our party and they catered for all of us on one table. The meat is lovely, their Deserts are fab. We all had starters, mains, pudding and wine and it cost us each only €20 each, which I can not fault. Absolutely brilliant place and this was recommended to us by the owner of our villa. Definitely worth a visit. We are visiting it again tonight!
