This hotel/ restaurant is located nearly around half a kilo meter away from the Haram Sharif. Nice location and nearby lot of shops are available for shopping, dining etc. This is located on the main road so one can easily get the taxi...

I have visited Al Baik at the Food Court located at the Second Floor of Taif Heart's Mall. There were plenty of cashiers ready to accept the orders, and in spite of that the place is usually congested being a popular fast food that serves delicious broasted chicken at a budget price. They usually serve four pieces of chicken either regular or spicy. For the price you have to pay this is definitely excellent value for money.

From food quality and cost perspective, this Indian restaurant is the best one among its category in Taif. The only concerns are: 1. The compartments for guests are relatively small and congested. 2. During weekends, only families are allowed to dine there.

After dinner at Al Sufara Restaurant I crossed to the other side of the street to buy some desserts at Al Hayat Sweets which is located along Al Nuzha. The cheese cakes displayed on the shelves were inviting and tempting so I purchased a few slices to see how it tastes and was not disappointed. All the Egyptian staff were warm and friendly and when they learned that I was new in town they spent more time striking a conversation with me. There was a Filipino staff who was also on duty and he asked me to sample on their basbosa which was delightfully tasty. I think I will be visiting this store more often especially when I crave for desserts. A word of caution: their sweets are addicting! For sure you will keep on coming back for more!

Broast House is conveniently located along Al Shehar Street next to a supermarket, bofiyah, a juice store, and gasoline station, just at the foot of the bridge in Al Shihar District. The staff at the counter are very warm and friendly. When I placed my order for broasted chicken together with my payment I was not asked to go to the cashier to pay, instead, the guy was kind enough to bring my money and get my change. This is what I call customer service. I did not wait long before I got my order served. There is a spacious dining area upstairs. The store is open until late at night which makes it an excellent dining option for people living within the area just like me.

The Vitamin Palace is strategically located along Abu Baker Siddeeq Road, opposite the Chamber of Commerce Building in Taif. You can easily find it because of the eye-catching display of fresh fruits that are creatively arranged to serve as indoor decor. I visited Vitamin Palace last night and was pleasantly surprised to learn that aside from fresh fruit juices, this restaurant serves Shawarma Arabic style and broasted chicken. It reminds me very much of Juice World in Jeddah. The dining area is spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful. I suggest they provide a bigger and wider straw since it is difficult to sip the smoothies through a narrow straw. I think I will be visiting this place more often when I happen to be around Shobra area. Highly recommended.

I visited Kudu Store No. 5 located along Al Shehar Street in Al Shihar District because I want to grab a quick meal after a long and busy day at work. Except for the Saudi Store Manager, the rest of the staff on duty were Filipinos. I ordered a Turkey Sandwich and got another Sandwich free of charge which turned out to be a pleasant surprise. Kudu has always been one of my favorite fast food chains in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 1996 and for a good reason. I always get good value for my money!

I have just moved to a new apartment in Dhahas District just a few minutes walk from Kubri Dhahas (Dhahas Bridge). It was around 11pm when I finished unloading my stuff from the Dabbab to my new apartment and by then I was really starving. It was a good thing that there is a TAZZA Fastfood operating next to the building where I am staying. The Saudi cashier, Mr. Amer, was very warm and accommodating. He welcomed me upon learning that I am new in the neighborhood. Aside from chicken they also serve boasted fish and shrimp. Excellent value for money! Highly recommended.

This review is quite late. Queen Taste is a take out only bakeshop. They have a massive floor area with the biggest display of cakes, pastries, bread, and sweets. If you are looking for quality products then this place is for you.

Cake and Coffee, pretty standard fare. First stop for a sugar fix, although not always a full selection available. Had to get one cake replaced, as it was stale and had been on display to long. Replaced with no quibble.
