Not a lot of options in Stillwell but we wanted a salad after a few days in town so I hit tripadvisor and checked the reviews. This place had a little salad bar with veggies to put on top, just what we were looking for. Ordered a mini pizza with pepperoni and canadian bacon, regular crust (they also have thick), and it was great! If I was ever back in Stillwell I would definitely eat here again!!!

Great atmosphere and decor inside; much more than you would expect in a donut store. The cinnamon rolls were delicious! No wifi though.

We just love this place the ladies are super sweet , you get a hello every time you walk through the door. The food is amazing all of it , you have to try the fried mushrooms, all the food is cook to order so it's nice and hot. I would recommend this place to everyone it's a must try and if you're one who's been there then you know what I'm talking about.

We eat there often, the staff is always friendly, the food is delicious, the dining room clean and appropriately designed and decorated for the type of food. I recommend the rellanos and the flan. Railfans can see the KCS in the distance if they sit on the south side looking east.

Hard to describe how good the chicken is here. The chunks are real chicken instead of the pressed stuff. Chunks are about 2 ounces each so a 7 chunk dinner for just under $10 is almost a pound of chicken and comes with great coleslaw, mashed potatoes, gravy and a roll. You’ve gotta be hungry if you order that. They also serve very good on the bone fried chicken and have a menu suited for the staving and the not so hungry folks. Service is fast and friendly and prices are very affordable. It’s a 60 mile drive from my house so I always bring some chicken home to make the trip more worthwhile. 12 huge pieces of chicken or 20 chunks are about $20.

This is an out of the way place, unless you are a local you are not likely to find yourself in Stilwell. There are some businesses here that might bring you to this town, and if that is the case, Okie Joe's should be on your agenda.
When I say nothing fancy, I mean "nothing fancy". I think this started out as a shack and was expanded. The expansion is nice and cozy, but this is a BBQ joint, not a fine dining experience.
However, the BBQ is wonderful. The pork was just perfectly smoked and the sandwiches were too large to finish. The sides were also ample.
The BBQ was not overwhelming; many BBQ joints think that the more smoke that you pour on, the better. That just obscures the taste of the meat. Okie Joe's has got just the right balance of smoke and seasonings so that you get the full complexity of smoke, spice and protein in every bite.
I'd love for them to expand so that more people could enjoy this great food, but if they do they will likely not be able to replicate the experience. So, for now, find a reason to go to Stilwell and enjoy this great hidden gem.

The Meatatarian is a meat lover's paradise!.. A hot link, bacon, smoked balogna and bbq sauce.. oh my! I got it with a mild hot link because I'm not fan of really spicy things. I could have easily eaten two of these! I want to try the German as well. I love sauerkraut and 1000 Island dressing. The sausages were the best I have ever tried.

We'll stop here on occasion, hopefully catching one of our students working. The food is typical Sonic, with wonderfull onion rings and excellent shakes.
