Few restaurant with a view provide good food and service. Kafenes to Mantraki is the exception, serving traditional Greek cuisine, rich with fresh vegetables, fish and sea food and tasty cheese. All with great service and splendid view of the Milos harbour and beyond.
After a week of exploration - this is one of the best on the island.

Ate dinner one evening, had the beef stifado & beet salad which were both delicious. Very warm atmosphere - family feeling. Service got a little inconsistent during dinner rush, but I'd still return! Andreas (the owner) seemingly has boundless energy & charm and withy a visit to his place.

Great restaurant, always busy, but with great service. When you (occasionally) feel the need for a break from Greek food, this is the place to visit. Pizza's prepared and baked in a proper stone oven with incredible fresh ingredients.

Sunrise have always the ability to make you dance. The owner Giannis and the staff always cheerful and welcoming. The staff will teach you how dance Greek style if needed. The DJ, Argiris, is one of the best in town. The cocktails are delicious and there is always something for everyone.

We ate there couple of times. It was always great especially the seafood dishes which were always the best. Service by the restaurant owner and by their scotish waiter working there was always very professional and most friendly. Very recommended.

The food at Oasis is truly impressive. I ate at a number of places on the island during a recent 2 week stay and the food at Oasis was head and shoulders better than anything else that I ate. The menu is varied despite not being extensive and everything that I ordered exceeded my expectations. One evening I enjoyed their bbq and it was delicious. The meat was cooked to perfection. On other evenings the food was always consistently good. I was staying at the hotel but only on a b&b basis as I don't like being tied to one place for all of my food but I have to say that if I had eaten here every night I don't think that I would have been disappointed. The service is on an absolute par with the food. The waiting and bar staff are all not only really friendly and helpful but extremely professional and diligent. With so much choice in Skala it would be easy to walk past Oasis as it has a modern rather than traditional Greek feel but don't make the mistake of walking past. You won't regret it and will I am sure be back again for more of the wonderful food and brilliant hospitality.

Nice little place right on the harbor area, so easy to walk to. Lovely outdoor covered Seating area and very laid back atmosphere. Even though there were several beers listed on the menu, turns out they only have 2--Alfa and Mythos--the usuals. Oh well, We enjoyed our brief stay.

BEACH BAR/CAFE situated right on the sea front. Free wifi. Open all hours. Serves breakfast (including traditional full English breakfast) Also a wide variety of hamburgers/cheeseburgers - all homemade! Light snacks and meals, waffles, ice creams and sweets are available throughout the day. Open until the early hours of the morning for drinks and cocktails. Free sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach opposite for all customers.

This is a very hip place, but 18 euros for 2 drinks (Martini Bianco) is somewhat expensive - although sun beds are free ! After a while , the girl came over and asked us to pay so we gave her 50 Euros thinking she would be back shortly. But she didn't - she kept the money and obviously wanted us to continue ordering... Not our kind of culture

We took two 16 year olds, a 9 year old here. The kids loved the American stacked pancakes here for a real holiday treat. We had great avocado on toast. This place is very relaxed, staff attentive and great to hear locals slamming backgammon pieces on nearby tables whilst drinking greek coffee.

WE had three courses at this restaurant last night -with plentiful drinks - and it came to 100 euros which is probably the most you'll pay for 4 adults in Kefalonia, but it was worth it. One son had lobster ravioli and it was amazing, the other had pizza and it had a wonderful texture and flavour.The waitress made us very welcome and comfortable, bringing a fan right next to our table as we were hot and generally making us feel special. My hard to please husband thought it was the best meal of the entire holiday and I have to admit ,it was faultless! Thank you to all the staff at El Destino for a memorable meal and night out. xxx The Thompsons
