It is a little hard to find, even the navigation had problems, but it's worth the attempt! The old buildings and interior have a lot of atmosphere and the schonish food is excellent, nothing fancy, but good local kitchen with local produce, they are also mentioned in Swedens White Guide for Restaurants. And afterwards you can enjoy the museum (or the other way round ;-)). As in most cases, salad and bread and tap water were included in the lunch menu.

Received the first Michelin star this year and recently been awarded with "Chef of the Year" in Sweden (voted by all the other master chefs in Sweden), your expectations is quite high when you visit Daniel Berlin Krog in Skane Tranas. Therefore it was exciting to get visit Daniel Berlin Krog again, were I have had absolute awesome dining experiences the last couple of years. To see if the restaurant still gives you a extraordinaire dining evening. From first minute you are taking good care of, Daniel Berlin welcome you as a guest, I have been dining at several Michelin restaurant in Europe and this is the only restaurant that I have welcomed by the chef himself. That is cool. The menu of the evening had 20 dishes - a few of these signature dishes. WOW again - I have praised Daniel Berlin before, and with this evening menu, I would say that one star is not enough. The presentation of the food - the look in itself is art, the taste. Daniel Berlin, you just got it - another evening for me in dining heaven. Thanks for that. I can highly recommend going for the wine menu. It is great when a restaurant is presenting you for a lot of smaller and independent wine, a lot of them organic wines and from wineries that I would never ever find by myself. All wines are served with a great introduction with some good information about the winemaker etc. Awesome food, great wine - all in a fantastic environment driven by very passionate staff - smiling and super friendly. In an earlier review I stated that this restaurant is on my Top 10 list of restaurant to visit - it still is, but now in my Top 5 list.

Seasonal berries (strawberries, raspberries, blueberries and blackberries), ice-cream, whipped cream, meringues (natural and liquorice flavoured), oatmeal biscuits, raspberry sauce, chocolate sauce, nuts and grated coconut was on the buffet table when we visited Eriksgården in the end of July. You go to the counter to order your meal, and those who order the berry buffet receive a bowl and then you can eat as much as you like for a fixed price. It was so delicious! The staff kept refilling the trays and bowls continuously.
They also have sandwiches and hot meals on the menu. My husband ordered a crayfish and prawn Sandwich on sourdough bread, but it turned out that they had run out of crayfish, so it became a prawn Sandwich which contained a generous portion of prawns and was very good. There was some waiting time for the Sandwich, and there were quite a lot of people so they were apparently very busy.
There is both indoor and outdoor Seating. We sat inside as all the tables outside were already occupied, but the indoor area was very noisy as there were several families with small and loud children.

En liten pizzeria i en liten by.
Detta innebär att man inte, om man inte vill behöver göra sig till för att locka till sig grannens kunder.
Med detta sagt så vill jag inte påstå att denna pizzeria är sämre än någon annan. Ej heller bättre.
En pizzeria helt enkelt.
De har även a la carte, typ svenskt gatukök.
Helt okej, men inget man hade rest långväga för att besöka.

We had been recommended to visit Sjöbo Kaffestuga as they should have a great all-you-can-eat serving cake and coffee.
True the restaurant offered seven different cakes. All the cakes looked okay but I did not see anything outstanding.
However, we went for the lunch. What a boring out of the factory serving.
Sandwich 1: meatballs on bread. Boring white bread with meatballs from a plastic pack.
Sandwich 2: boiled egg and herring. I could have made a nicer and more delicate serving at home without any efforts.
Sandwich 3: ham Sandwich. No comments but it screamed for improvements.
As Sjöbo Kaffestuga focus on cakes I asked why they did not offer spettkaka (a local speciality). The owner explained that the local spettkaka bakery did not want to deliver, and he could care to go and buy it.

Imaginative and delicious pizzas, not the usual Swedish pizzas, and not the usual Swedish pizzeria. Take your time to relax and have a drink (this is not the place for you if you're in a hurry). They have a good selection of beer and wine, and they also have gourmet coffee drinks and dessert.

Above average quality for the lunch buffet: taste, variety and excellent products.
Coffee with dessert and even a soft drink are included.
The decoration is old-style traditional, with thick and large wooden tables, quitted chairs and porcelain coffee cups. Recommanded for a peaceful and relaxing week-end lunch.

Had a buffet lunch, which was good, and good value for money (and therefore understandably busy!). Had also dinner: limited menu, but enough to choose from, and the food was good. This Cafe has been serving fresh bread, cakes, buns and sandwiches for many years and I have never been disappointed. A place where lots of locals stop for breakfast, especially on a summer morning on the small patio. Free refills too!
