Pretty typical apres atmosphere but much better than expected food. I had their burger special of the night and it was delicious. Everyone in our group was pleased with their food. The staff was also friendly and helpful. The decor and atmosphere is similar to most other apres places which is always enjoyable. It's not a huge place but we didn't have to wait too long to get in on a Friday night. I would definitely recommend eating dinner or going for apres here.

The Bulldog Grand Cafe is an extension of The Bulldog™ Amsterdam, a renowned Dutch establishment. The ambiance is that of the legendary 'Brown Bars' in a grand café setting. A solid option for dinner at Silverstar. The Bulldog is great for drinks but also has a broader menu than some of the other options in the village, including some curries, departing from the otherwise staple pub food. It is also a very child-friendly venue for dinner, but it is preferable to book if you want to guarantee a table.

The highlight of this place is the service, which complements the excellent fresh food. This became our 'regular' for lunch each day - with changing soups each day and great poutin. Also have the best hot chocolate on mountain.Thank you for the 5 star review, we sincerely appreciate it. All the best to you and hope to see you again soon!

Lots of healthy food options - and staff are super friendly. Coffee is good and it's a good spot for larger groups/family.
The BLT bagel was a fave and staff happy to toast it up for you. Only downside is the climb down two flights of stairs in ski boots to use the bathroom - it really needs a freshen up. It smells like a public toilet and doesn't appear to get cleaned regularly.

I had the hot root veggie salad with chorizo sausage with a glass of their least expensive merlot. Both were excellent and plenty. Nice location overlooking the the quaint Silverstar Village. I'll eat here again before I leave.Thanks Andrew, Myself and the team are so glad you enjoyed your experience with us at 1609. We look forward to seeing you again while you stay at SilverStar. I enjoyed a great breakfast Sandwich this morning a Bugaboos in Silver Star. Food quality, I give this place an excellent. My rating drops because if the service and environment. While I was eating at a table staff were turning the chairs upside down and scraping the gum off, leaving it in a pile on the table next to me to clean up later. Also, the manager spent most of the time at a table right by the front door eating, greeting guests with his mouth full of food. Like I said, food was great, but they have some polishing up to do.

We had already had a good lunch here yesterday, and returned for dinner today. Excellent, lean elk burger; lovely, fresh quinoa salad; great philly cheese steak; crisp side salad and steaming hot and tasty yam fries. Good cider and beer. Good value and excellent service.
