Went on recommendation from front desk and trip advisor. The puzza was a stated better than most. Crazy Amy the bartender /server was great. This has 3 rooms one just dining, one is a sports bar with lots of TVs. I would definitely make this a stop.

Nothing fancy but does ok as a stopover place to get a meal. Prices were reasonable and portions ok.Hi there. I think there might be some confusion. Your review says "decent breakfast". We (The Frontier Bar and supper Club) are only open for dinner.

From the reviews I had read, I was expecting something to "write home about." Ate lunch here on a typical Spring day while in town on business. Got there before noon, so there were few people there. Service was fine (no problems, fast and attentive enough, but nothing to rave out). Atmosphere was okay (bright, and clean enough, but no particular charm). Menu was more limited than I had expected. I ordered hot beef sandwich, and was pleased when the waitress asked whether I'd like it on white or whole wheat bread (whole wheat, please!). It was fine. The beef was fine (not great), the gravy was fine (from a mix, I think) and the mashed potatoes were fine (instant, I think). Fairly hot. I also had a salad (fresh enough, with some variety, but nothing special). There didn't seem to be any desserts (none on menu, and none offered by waitress). That was a surprise, and a disappointment. So....my meal was okay.

After driving around Shelby looking for somewhere to eat, settled on Ringside Ribs. Since it is part of a casino, was skeptical. Walking in, you are surprised at how large the restaurant is. The order was taken quickly. The food was okay although seemed like really overpriced for the area. $15 for a 3 piece chicken dinner? But they have a captive audience.

An old-time drive up or order at the window ice cream stop and grill. In a town where many eateries are in casinos, it was awesome to order at the window, then eat at the picnic table outside. While eating, many people drove up and the servers went out to the cars that had pulled up and took orders. I felt as if I was in a scene in a fifties movie, which was fun. The food and ice cream was terrific as well. GREAT place.

once a year for a limited time they have a deal on their pizza. great !!!but you can't take it to go(the deal is if you eat it there. Which means i got to drive home(30 minutes away) come back to Shelby with my family then another 30 minutes back. So the gas would destroy any deals. After working 12 a day, and 70 hours a week, just want to get something to go...

We had breakfast and lunch. My husband had eggs, bacon and pancakes. It was cooked just the way he likes it. I had the half taco salad and it was huge anyway. Lots of beef in the lettuce and I didn't have to ask for sour cream, guacamole or salsa, it was served with my salad. Really enjoyed this meal. The baked shell was very good.
There aren't too many places to eat in Shelby so we were pleasantly surprised to get a good meal here.

This is definitely a scaled down version of most Albertson's stores, but clean, orderly and had a super friendly and helpful staff. Bought some premade sandwiches and although you couldn't pick and choose your "innards", it was fresh, tasty and loaded with meat, not just fluff like many sub chains.

Massive menu choices including entrees, combination plates, sides, and appetizers. Bar is next door and you can order alcoholic drinks with meals. Portions are large. Great staff. Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
