Serang municipality (Indonesian: Kota Serang, Sundanese: ᮞᮨᮛᮌ᮪) is the capital of Banten province and was formerly also the administrative center of Serang Regency in Indonesia (the Regency's capital is now at Baros). The city is located towards the north of Banten province, on the island of Java. Before Banten province was formed in 2000 Serang was part of West Java province.

I was able to choose type of coffee and method of brewing. I got Java Aribica in a french press. It was half full of water and the tiniest French press I've seen. It came out pretty boring and cost 32,000 IDR. In a country which produces coffee beans for export, it would sure be nice to find a decent cup of french roast!

Located in Sheraton Bandara hotel, near the airport, Linjani restaurant is a quiet place to have lunch, dinner or breakfast. There is a nice swimming pool where you relax and take drinks.
Food was mainly indonesian style (possibly due to Ramadan). Huge variety of dishes of good quality, not too spicy.
Service is attentive and helpful.

We were there for lunch and really enjoyed it:
cosy restaurant within the Sheraton Bandar, a bit more formal than the buffet downstairs, and much better!
excellent service from the young lady, smiling and making recommendations for the food.
beautiful meal with tasty meat and delicious mixed side dish (onions,lemongrass, lime juice, chili and...?)
a great experience of an authentic local dish for around $20 per head.

A lovely way to spend an evening when you are winding down after a long flight. It was beautifully designed and welcoming. There is an atmosphere of stay a while, relax and unwind. I would eat/ drink here again.

Nikmati sup ikan khas kota Serang, Banten. Diolah dengan bumbu rempah sehingga aromanya segar. Rasa sup nya kental dengan daun kemangi, daun serai dan cabe rawit yang benar-benar merangsang nafsu makan. Sup ikan ini hanya terdapat di beberapa rumah makan di jalan taman baru atau di dekat alun-alun kota serang. Satu porsi Sup ikan ini dapat dimakan 4 orang.

The location is a lit tricky. It is inside the housing complex. You must go inside to the sign. The price is reasonable. Food n beverage also acceptable.

Mau makan durian di bawah kerindangan pepohonan? Mau makan durian pagi, sore atau malam hari? Penjual durian di sepanjang jalan antara kota Serang dan Pandeglang selalu siap dengan tumpukan durian yang matang di pohon. Itulah mengapa mereka menyebutnya Durian Jatohan.
Salah satu tempat makan durian jatohan yang saya datangi adalah DJA. Kita bisa memilih langsung durian yg dimaui, tapi jika tidak ahli dalam memilih durian sebaiknya biarkan penjual yang memilih.
Bangunan tempat makan umumnya berupa bangunan kayu atau bambu berdinding tepas. Tinggi dinding hanya setengah badan, tidak tertutup sampai atas, sehingga pengunjung dapat menikmati pemandangan halaman luas penuh pohon rindang. Halaman parkir yang disediakan juga luas.
Penggemar durian akan betah berlama-lama disini.
