We were a group of 5 who had good fun and nice dinner at Asmara. Fault free in all ways. Price& quality meeting nicely. We all left not hungry or thirsty but satisfied and smiling.

Puri Mas The Ballroom Restaurant offers in house guests and visitors to Puri Mas one of the most amazing dining locations in Lombok. The restaurant is located directly on the beach front in the peaceful fishing bay of Mangsit Beach. Diners can relax and enjoy a delicious meal of fresh local seafood (seafood platter must be order one day in advance), traditional Indonesian cuisine or home cooked international flavors while gazing across the ocean to Mount Agung in Bali. Guests may enjoy a la carte breakfast, lunch or dinner between 7 AM-10.30 PM daily. Reservations essential especially on Monday evenings which offer fantastic Latin dances and on Thursday with Traditional Indonesian dances performed by the students of the Puri Mas Social Dance project. Good mix of Indian/Indonesian food, the butter chicken and Nasi goreng were particularly good. Overall good prices in a very well laid out restaurant with attentive staff.

Excellent food, avoid the cheese platter, it was 220k and the cheese was not good. All the rest, really probably one of the best hotel restaurants I've had all around the world. Great service, they charge 21% tax and service.

This cafe is located near the arts market. Food was decent and service level rendered is decent too. Staff are friendly but not every efficient. A good place to enjoy some decent Indonesian food in quite a pleasant environment.

Our hotel (Mama Bella's) had an order-in service from this cafe. So this was the first meal we ate after completing rinjani!!! (so note that this review might be biased because we were famished)
ORDER:
-their chicken schnitzel was really nice, came with cheese and bacon inside it. And the fries were quite well done!!
-we ordered fried calamari which was quite good as well!!!
DO NOT ORDER:
-their bruchetta was really bad, basically a dry piece of bread with slices of tomato and some shredded cheese. we hated the low effort in it!!
-their satay was so-so.
For the PRICE, it was worth it! But if you have little time to spend in sengigi, i think there are also other options to try in sengigi which might be better if you fork out more cash.

I normally don't write reviews on TripAdvisor, but this experience owned an adequate response. So please don't judge me on my first review here.
FIRST SIGHTING:
We walked by on the main road in Sengiggi and saw the freshly iced fishes, lobsters, squids, and a lot more. From outside we did never expect what we were about to experience this warm summer evening. After asking what they had to offer, we were friendly explained the menue. Nonetheless, we didn't wanna go into the first restaurant/warung at that evening. So we walked all around the beach searching for a nice seafood bbq. After more than 2 hours walking and searching (including checking out the art market), we came back to the leaf cafe, which is definitely the best in town, when you are looking for fresh seafood bbq.
SECOND SIGHTING:
After showing our interest in the offerings on the street, we were welcomed by the thoroughly interested and knowledgeable chef. We received information about the origins of the fishes, explanations about the different tastes of the seafood and recommendations for our dinner.
We were recommended the big black grouper for the two of us (fair move not to sell us two dishes). The fish was prepared with a sweet marinade on open fire and served nicely on the wooden plate.
As a side dish we got rice and a vegetable soup. As a very kind extra, the chef prepared a few shrimps for us at the side of the fish, which especially my wife loved. The chef was even so kind to show us how to peal them easily on our table.
TASTE:
The taste of the soup was very delicious and spicy, similar to a curry; we both loved it. Actually this alone would have been worth to come here.
The fish was amazing. Not only was the fish grilled exactly to the point where the fish developed its flavor ideally, but also was the taste origin with a slight sweet touch through the sweet marinade.
SERVICE:
Everyone was very kind to us and considered about our well being. Especially, the chef himself.
LOCATION:
As mentioned, we didn't expect this great experience, when we saw the warung from outside on the main road in Sengiggi. On the first sight this local is a normal Indonesian one with a simple interior. But after we made us self comfortable, enjoying our drinks, we saw the lovely details this warung has to offer. So the wall is full of people's notes, messages, and greetings from all over the world. Also a lot of sayings/verbs are on the walls (my favorite: "every lobster is going to heaven").
HAPPY END:
In the end we did not have to pay for the extra rice and soup for my wife (we only ordered one big fish for two).
Also we had a nice chat with the chef and his little daughter (i assume) on the way out. He was willing to explain us little more about the fish we just ate.
In conclusion, amazing experience!

Senggigi has very limited choices when it comes to dining. This was the only place where we experienced authentic Lombok atmosphere as well as the freshest local food. Very simple menu. We stayed at Katamaran resort and this place is about 10 mins walk along the beach.
Some fish are served filet. I asked for whole fish. It can be served with fries or rice. I just read another review saying nasi goreng is good. So we will go back tonight and try that.

Surprised with new beautiful and cozy beach bar, we can see directly Mount Agung and group of people doing Surfing just in front of the resort. Having nice cool drink before having lunch. We have order Cumi Sambal Bawang and grilled fish. both two dishes was very nice and perfectly cooked, highly recommended for friends who plan to visit this beautiful resort.
