After a very long day traveling on the road, we were driving the Trans America Trail, we stopped here for dinner. The Reuben sandwich is one of the best you will find anywhere! The wait staff is excellent, 4 different waitresses stopped by our table to see if we needed anything, asked if the food was okay, etc. On the way out we met the owner Jay, what a great guy! He told us how he and his wife bought the place, remodeled it and added the additional dining room. These two are very hardworking and dedicated to making the Outpost a success!

Food & ice cream here is good. Tried the onion rings and chili dog today. Family comes here occasionally and likes it.

This is a nice, clean, friendly, quick restaurant serving delicious, moderately-priced food. It was just the thing I wanted that night and I am glad I chose it. The smoked meat was very competently prepared. The sides were fine. If you are looking for barbecue, then eat at The Hickory Pit.

The fish hut is a rather nondescript, smaller scale family owned restaurant that definitely deliver!!!! The menu is excellent and specializes in fish but also offers good chicken dishes, and my favorite, the ribeye steak.

We arrived here on a Saturday night later in the evening. They were out of everything except burgers which was fine. A burger was tickling me where I itched.
The building is along Main St in one of those charming older parts of town. The decor of the place was great. High ceilings, air hockey in the corner. Ordered at the counter, the young lady was very friendly. The double cheeseburger with sautéed onions was beautifully cooked and the fries had a perfect crunchiness to them. Highly recommended.

Burgers are really good and a great price. I've also had the fish and they were very good as well. It's small and service is a bit slow, but the food makes up for any misfortunes in that area.

Very inexpensive buffet but it's served cafeteria style, so you have to get back in line and have the food dished out. Kind of embarrasing if you;ve already been thru once. And awkward. HOWEVER, the food was pretty decent.

My sister and I happened to stumble upon this restaurant while visiting our parents in our hometown. Oh my goodness! It was fabulous! I got the Spaghetti and Meatballs, & she got the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, and both dishes were awesome. The service was great, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the food is outstanding. We can't wait to bring our husbands back with us next time.

This is the closest to real mexican food you can find here in the sticks. The food is flavorful, service is excellent and portions are generous. My only drawback (and it isn't their fault) is the lousy salsa. We like it HOT and fresh and this area would die before eating something like that so they serve this watery, flavorless salsa that I'm not sure didn't come from a jar. They cheerfully alter their dishes to your taste and do it right the first time. Love this restaurant.
