Both appetizers , raw and cooked fish, were delicious. Fresh , top quality ingredients and expertly prepared. Service was gentle and fast. Definitely worth another visit.

If you are tired of the sounds of traffic jams and modern life, just visit this magic place. This restaurant is in the city centre of San Severo. As soon as you enter you travel into the past, ready to take your time and enjoy a special meal with friends. In a very well decorated outdoor patio you will eat extremely delicious homemade food and drink superb wine.
I came here twice, for special occasions with my family and friends. The last time was in July 2013 with my family. We enjoyed warm homemade bread and many local typical dishes of Puglia. I advice the rose' wine from Salento (sorry I do not remember the name). I do not like usually rose', but after that dinner I changed my mind.
The service is fast and efficient and the staff are professional and kind at the same time. I am vegetarian and always left this restaurant full and satisfied after having eaten only their special appetizers (which in reality is a proper meal!). If you want to spend a special moment with your friends, eat local homemade food, this is the place for you. Finally, a low price for such high quality.

I can't do anything, but recommend this place. The endless sequence of delicious antipasti will make you forget the troubles of life. In the historical center of San Severo, we stopped on our way to Gargano Beaches. Really worth a visit if you are not on a tight budget

A quite noon time in the restaurant. Waiter doesn't speak English but very warm, we ordered a grill fish, it was quite fresh and delicious. Side dishes also nice. Free appetizers and side dishes. We were quite satisfied.

We have been al Carbonaio and were never disappointed. We definitely recommend to try the pancotto when offered. Also pizza and pasta were pretty good. We enjoyed house selection of a variety of appetizer. They do offer good options for gluten free guest. We'll sure get back!

I went there for lunch on a Tuesday in June, and it really felt like being in somebody's home, which it was. The food was really good, and I could see the host making some for his daughter as well when he was making some for me.
