I find that this place has one of the best; if not the best PIZZA in Montreal and the surrounding areas. Actually this place is on the south shore about 8 minutes from Montreal. I believe the owner is from Italy or of Italian descent and has probably made Pizza in Montreal in his earlier years. Excellent Pizza and I have told this to the owner many many times.

I reviewed Lulu about 3 years ago, as it was a bistro we regularly frequented; this place was always right on point for impeccable service and food.
Fast forward to this past weekend, where it had been close to a year since we last stepped foot in Lulu's. We heard the place was sold last winter and the new owner had committed to keep the same menu and staff.
Menu is the same, with a few minor adjustments, and the food is delicious - we had the "confit de canard" salad and the salmon. For dessert, we shared the spiced-cake poêlé with ice cream.
Problem was with the service - it was uneven. We had to request water many times - the server walking around with the pitcher was doing just that, walking around. We also had to request bread and butter may times before someone finally brought us a tiny piece of baguette with a few plastic-containers of butter (you know, the kind you get at the deli).
It took over 45 minutes to get our salad and salmon, which is way too long for this type of food. The confit de canard was good, but its skin, which should have been crispy, was soft and wet. The salmon was excellent, and crusted with sesame seeds.
We are not planning on going back soon - we were quite disappointed with the poor service and the confusion that seemed to reign amongst the wait staff.

Perfect atmosphere to go with your girlfriend or boyfriend.
Also perfect for a business lunch.
Soft music with very nice deco. Not too much Asian while very classy and warm.
Service was impeccable for us.
I went on different occasions already and I just love their Steak Teriyaki.
Far better than a lot of others that serves this.
Price vs. quality for me is : 95%
Here's a sample of the meals I tasted :

Veggie Salade meal (very good).

They have a different menu for the lunch time and there is even one menu to taste different meals from different parts of the world. Which changes every 2 months.

This is a chain restaurant, so expectations weren't high to begin with. Atmosphere is very dated. Service was fair. They're known for their salad bar. There was a lot of variety but as soon as we returned from the salad bar our entrees were delivered. The chicken and ribs are tasty. The portion size is small for an adult. Paying with a credit card is an adventure since their system is so different. It would be helpful to explain how to pay before looking stupid.

We went there for a family dinner to celebrate an anniversary. The ambiance and décor are cool and the menu is very interesting. All the food we ordered was good, but not excellent as we expected it. We were kind of disappointed here. I think our expectations were too high. When the tab came in... $160 for 3 people, no wine and only one dessert. Not sure it was worth it. The service was also very good, but somewhat "with an attitude".

This is the best Allo Mon Coco I have ever been to. The service is unlike any other. They are extremely attentive, and welcoming. The choco coco plate is outstanding, with a chocolate banana crepe, eggs, potatoes, and bacon. The food is fresh, well priced for it's value, and is consistently good. Billy and Thomai are the best hosts, and both make a mean cappuccino. If you are in the area, go check this place out!

- took the lobster pasta with Xtra Lobster, but was very disappointing, and the Lobster was very minimal at best, & if your expecting Claws like in the ad, forget that thiere aren't any.

By mid morning on a Sunday the restaurant was completely full. After a fifteen minute wait we were seated and quickly brought our coffee and water. There was typical breakfast fare on the menu. Our orders were taken and surprise the food arrived at our table without a long wait. This does not occur too frequently in a busy restaurant. It was obvious the kitchen was on top of all the orders. The food arrived warm and prepared as ordered. The wait staff was friendly, efficient and not overwhelmed by the large crowd. Management saw fit to provide extra staff to satisfy their customers. Hospitality spoken here.
