I've eaten Thai food at Ocracoke Island, Black Mountain , NC and in Huntsville, Ontario but this is my favorite Thai food by far. I'd say this restaurant, which is near where I work--thus I eat there a lot--taught me to love Thai food. The Pad Thai, Green Curry, Drunken Noodle, Panang Curry and Shrimp Potpourri are all excellent, You can choose Shrimp, Seafood Medley, Chicken, Pork or Beef as the meat to these dishes, if you want something more than vegetarian
Prices are very very reasonable.
The only issue for many is that I don't think they serve wine or beer.

I love this place. They have great ice cream treats and brownies as well as coffee and frappucinos! It's so relaxing to go in and get a cup of coffee or ice cream and chat with friends/family or just hang out alone and watch people in "Small Town Friendly". I'm a sucker for the Praline ice cream in a waffle cone. Addictive.

We went here because Fat Tracy's was rated #1 of 13 in Spindale. The bbq pork was just average. We frankly were hoping for excellent or outstanding! The sides were a big disappointment. Mashed potatoes were instant and recommended mac n cheese was institutional food at best. Service was friendly and professional.
We would go here again (only if already in the area), but definitely wouldn't make a special trip.

I tried these on the recommendation of a friend. They were very tasty. We tried the famous orange twist, cinnamon bun, apple fritter, choc covered raised glazed, choc. devils food cake, and of course glazed raised donut holes. My favorite by far wa the choc. devils food cake donut. I think it was actually lighter than the yeast donuts. All were good, don't get me wrong, I just like my raised donuts to be lighter. Second would probably be the cinnamon bun. The famous orange twist had a very nice flavor to it. It was very unique.

A large restaurant with lots of Mexican fare and good chips and salsa. I love Burritos. The burrito I had was tasty but small. I could have eaten two.

Wow this quaint little coffee shop has big time coffee flavors and the most friendly people. Rutherford should be very pleased to have such a nice place in their town. Denise who is the Brista is a very pleasant person and will take the time to explain to you their wide variety of fresh roast coffees (which they grind fresh daily right there). It was nice to have the added touch of coffee ice cubes and you are even allowed to bring your well behaved dog if you like. We met some very nice people from the community. The coffee shop also carries a variety of tea and some bakery items. Please come and try this wonderful little place but do not expect a big breakfast because it is a coffee shop for great coffee/tea, conversation and a little bite enough to take the edge off. We will definitely go back to enjoy this little gem of a place.

i dont drink at all, but this place has so many beers to offer- so if you drink this is a must go to place! I went for the food. really great menu choices. fantastic pizza. cool vibe as far as pub location.

Great little restaurant just minutes from Lake Lure and Chimney Rock. On the main road just outside of town. Parking lot was full and although not the most up to date features clean and comfortable inside.
The main reason we go out to eat is the food and let me say, nothing was bad at all. From the bread upon arrival to the last hush puppy everything we had was great. Steaks spot on and seared and cooked perfectly.
Our waitress did forget a side of fries and we were treated appropriately at check out because of it.
Great little place while in the area and well worth the 20 minute drive from the lake.
Lastly let me say the price is absolutely right!

We stopped by on a day trip to Rutherfordton after reading reviews here. The people were very nice, but the food was average at best. The shake was imitation flavored and the burger was full of fresh toppings but the meat itself was such low quality. This is a fine place for a casual stop, and once again, the people were so friendly. It just didn't meet our expectations.

Stumbled on this place while driving though NC. Popular with locals which is always a good sign... we had a large group of eight, and ordered a large variety of dishes ranging from French toast (breakfast served until 3PM) to Turkey melt to shrimp pasta (Pasta Athena). All were excellent and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and attentive Especially our server, Ruby). Highly recommended.
