We got 3 Large pizzas for lunch - Bacon & Mushroom, Pepperoni, and Cheese. The ingredients were fresh and good flavors. The Bacon & Mushroom pizza was rather dry, the others were fine. As we transported these pizzas to the high school for an event, they did an outstanding job of wrapping each pizza in aluminium foil, keeping them much warmer than those usually boxes.

I've eaten here a hundred times and I've never had anything but a good experience. Pulled pork and chopped chicken BBQ are my favorites. Brisket tacos are great. Homemade banana pudding is the best of many good desserts.

all girls shared tips so they got tips even if they did not work there. i odered the captians platter, the oysters were mush, the scallops would break from crust , overcooked. the decor was not retro, just plain 60,s , the best part were the hushpuppies, not reccomed by me to nobody.

From a tourists's perspective, this is more of a specialty shop specializing in artisanal breads and pastries with a cooler of some nice-looking take-out lunches & salads. There's not really much in the way of seating, though there is a table (maybe two) available for use. The breads, brownies, pastries - everything, really - is truly exceptional and I highly recommend stopping in for some local flavor. I like to bring out-of-town guest by here as a treat so that they can see that we are truly civilized down here (having fresh bakery treats and all) and they can be duly impressed by the baker's talent.

We were driving by on Hwy. 58 towards Raleigh and needed a hit of hand dipped ice cream. Just 1/4 mile off the highway Trip Advisor led us to Dippers. Where were treated to fantastic high quality had dipped ice cream. Tried a waffle cone of butter pecan (my favorite) and southern pecan pie (Dippers most popular flavor). Note, put the southern pecan pie on the bottom as the butter pecan is softer. We scored a winner and will definitely be back again.

The only challenge to this great place is locating it. Found it in the back of a mostly defunct Patrick Henry mall. But the food was worth it. Really enjoyed today's special of blackened chicken in a tasty salad and a cup of French onion soup.

First time going to this place and it won't be the last. Lots of selections on what you want to eat, from chids platters to senior platters and everything in-between. Parking was heavy due to being Fathers Day but we had no problems. There was a line but again no problems because the seating attendant said that if it was only us two that we could go thru the line and be seated asap, and we was.

Place is usually crowded for take out food, phone take out orders accepted! The cheeseburgers are huge and loaded, reminds of the 1950's before "fast food" Breakfast is available, sandwiches,fries, etc. Prices are reasonable and service is good in spite of the crowds' I order here frequently.

Went to the local steak house in Martinsville, it was closed due to a family emergency. So we ending up going to El Parral. The service was excellent, the food was just the average Mexican flare. My only complaint was the menu was to large.
