Říčany (Czech pronunciation: [ˈr̝iːtʃanɪ]; German: Ritschan) is a town in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. In 2006 it had almost 17,500 inhabitants. It is located 20 km from the center of Prague and it takes about half an hour to get to the Prague Main railway station by train. The town is part of the Prague metropolitan area.

When we were staying in Ricany, we asked the locals for a good restaurant. They pointed us to Cajovna. The restaurant looks nice and has a beautiful garden/terrace for warm summernights. The waitress was very kind and although her english wasn't that good, she tried her best.
This is not the cheapest restaurant in Ricany, but still much cheaper than the West-European standard. The menu gives you a lot of options. For starters I recommend the onion soup in a bread bowl or a nice salad. Main dishes vary from pizza to steak and from pasta to salads.
Altogether this restaurant is a must for visitors of Ricany. Could even be a reason to visit Ricany!

Just a short walk from our hotel, very nice location and venue. Unfortunately it was lunch time. Every aspect involved a lengthy wait. Not idea with small children but you do get bread if they get really irritable. Food and drinks were very nice, waiting 10-15 minutes to pay though (excluding all others wait times) was very frustrating. Avoid peak times and enjoy.

This is a place my friends introduce me because they think they have good Thai food. And I love Thai food, so I went with them. I thought Europe spicy food is always mild. And I was wrong.... My goodness, the level of the spicy is just far above my expectation.

Good tasty food and good value. I was here tonight with 2 work colleagues. We started inside because outside was full, and moved there before our beers arrived - nice to be outdoors, though smoking is permitted. Service was friendly and though the menus were only in Czech, server was helpful with some English translations overall. I had a great lightly grilled calamari (2 large pieces) over a nice salad and cherry tomatoes. The others had the Australian steaks - the peppercorn sauce is extra. Overall nice.

Až budete projíždět Říčany,určitě se tu stavte na oběd nebo večeři,pokud budete chtít něco slavit,opět doporučuji.Jídlo skvělé a za slušné ceny,stylový interiér,pivo jako křen a milá, ochotná a rychlá obsluha.Obsáhlé polední menu,vřele doporučuji!!!!!!

This restaurant can really recommended especially for a sushi !
Place is not in Prague ( 35km ), not in a centre fo Říčany, but if you have a car, or take a taxi for the visit of this restaurant, it will be a great deal.
Fresh and excellent sushi, nice atmosphere, and super staff - that is together the point for another visit!
Enjoy it.

Ideální pro objednávku jídel na odvoz než posedět na místě. Prostředí spíš jako bistro nebo kantýna. Každopádně zajímavá jídla i v meníčku během týdne, výběr dobrých burgerů apod.
