We booked a tour plus five course lunch without much expectation and were throughly blown away by the chef's imaginative and delicious cooking, warm hospitality of the whole staff, the wine pairing is ridiculously inexpensive with great thought behind the marriage between wine and food. We also get to taste experimental wine not commercially available. I cannot wait to return for another culinary discovery journey the chef has planned for us.

Delicious food and good service. The house wine was superb, both red and white. The only slight criticism I have is that the bench seats are desperately uncomfortable for those without padded bottoms! Otherwise, a very good restaurant

En route from Evora to Monsaraz, we chose this restaurant due to excellent reviews. We were equally pleased with the food, service and value. The meal was delicious in a basic, but comfortable setting. We sampled the pork back, chicken and migas (bread dressing). Our server patiently explained the menu items in English.

Good food with a very passionate owner chef.
Wine was good and reasonable priced.
As stated before the owner / chef can be a little overbearing but we just went along with him and everything was fine.
The menu was certainly different and all four of us enjoyed our meals.

This place is a favorite for locals. Service was outstanding. When asked if the sardines were fresh the waitress immediately replied "No, they're frozen". Food tasted very fresh, the cheap house wine was extremely good. The grilled lamb chops were excellent. Desserts are delicious.

Belonging to the same people as 'A Grelha' in the centre of Reguengos, this is a classy, spacious restaurant on the outskirts of town. The food is top notch regional 'Alentejano' and boasts some great flavours. I had the asparagus 'migas' with fried pork and my wife went for the monkfish rice with clams. Both were excellent. Being in the heart of wine country, you can't go wrong with the choice of house wine, which is very good indeed.
The owners are also branching out into cheeses, olives and Sandwich spreads (all home made) and which particularly appealed to me.
The desserts are made up as much to please the eye as the tastebuds. When it comes to choosing, mosey on over to the dessert stand and feast your eyes before choosing!

Plano B is a small and almost unnoticed restaurant in Reguengos de Monsaraz. Tucked away in a small street near the church you may miss it and have difficulty in finding it. The restaurant décor is simple and straight. if your aim to have good food in a simple and unpretentious atmosphere, this is what you get here and particularly if you like food from the Alentejo Region in Portugal. It is a must to eat the »migas» and »porco preto» at Plano B! the menu contains many other Alentejo typical dishes! Wine selection is small but it contains enough wines from the region. Worth a visit! ...even some folks drive all the way from Lisbon (200 km) just to have lunch here and return same day!

Simple tasca at the local market. Kind personalized service. Specializing in grilled meats. Honestly priced, tasty food. Cheap regional wine list. Perfect for a quick lunch between wineries visits. Great price quality relationship.

We had a quick lunch during our pottery tour. They didn't have all the dishes mentioned on the menu but we found something to eat and it was actually really delicious!

É um restaurante com um ambiente escuro, pouco apelativo. Desconheço a história, mas aparentava ter sido um bar ou discoteca.
A comida é simples, o atendimento foi simpático e rápido.
