McDonald's

Reviewed By flyfisher66 - Islamabad, Pakistan

This McDonald has a great location and few years back, it used to provide very good quality fast food too. Over the years, the standard has deteriorated a bit. They need to look into the quality of service that they provide in comparison with other options available in the area. Nevertheless, not a bad option

Mei Kong

Reviewed By Rizwan E - Karachi, Pakistan

Growing weary of our travel from Faisalabad to Rawalpindi, we headed to ‘Saddar’ for a quick bite and Mei Kong was decided after Reading initial reviews.
From the moment we entered to the house host who seated us to our servers, it was very remarkably done. Decent selection of entrees which were priced very high but came in generous portions, although rice serving is good for 2 only.
Szechuan styled Kung pao I was expecting to tear my stomach, but it not doing so I wasn’t satisfied either. Kung pao is served with fried red peppers and Szechuan (Sichuan) culinary is incomplete without garlic and chili spices. Although the concoction served was still delightful.
Tasteful decor and serene ambience makes for an enjoyable dining experience.
Appetizers and desserts were served complimentary.
It was my first visit of an aged, well styled and popular establishment of this city, and I will certainly visit again whenever I’m back.

Des Pardes

Reviewed By Sehrish K - Islamabad, Pakistan

Des Pardes Rawalpindi is a must go place for people who love & enjoy fine dine within the decent visitors at a place that offers not only delicious food but also amazing ambience.
Rawalpindi lacks good & VIP places to visit as compared to Islamabad so Des Pardes is one good must-visit place.
The place has a fun land area for kids & motion ride for adults.
So besides food, you can also have some fun while your visit to the place.
The food itself is really delicious although a bit pricy. Its speciality is Chilman biryani, mutton handi gosht laziz & reshmi kababs.
Just go there fearlessly because here your money & time will get their value in full.

Balla Tikka House

Reviewed By shahidabadsha - Rawalpindi, Pakistan

This restaurant serves delicious meat dishes cooked in many different ways. We had mutton karhahi cooked in butter and one has to eat that to know the superb taste. We were served courteously in a clean and comfortable environment by a customer-friendly staff. Located in the crowded part of Rawalpindi, the only difficulty one may encounter is the approach to the restaurant. The road was further narrowed by some construction work. The reward, however, is worth the effort.

Saeed Village Restaurant

Reviewed By n b - Islamabad

This restaurant was started about a year and a half ago and I kept on hearing good things about it but did not get a chance to go there. A few days back my Mom invited some relatives for Iftar (the breaking of the fast in the holy month of Ramadan). She asked me where we could go and I suggested that we go to Saeed. Luckily my suggestion bore fruit as the Iftar and Dinner were both very good. The atmosphere was very calm and service was excellent. The variety of snacks etc , food items, soft drinks--sherbets, squashes etc , were abundant.
The best part was the view from the top. This place is on the fifth floor and with a mezzanine and raised ground floor it is adequately high as you can see almost the whole of Rawalpindi from there. (See pics)

Lahori Samosa

Reviewed By HINAWASEEM - ISLAMBAD Pakistan

These samosas, potato filled triangles, have been our favorites for 25 years. The owners are two brothers who start selling samosas from 10 am and go on selling them till 10 pm non-stop. People eat these pipping hot fried triangles for brunch, lunch, snacks and dinner. Long queues can be seen outside this eatery at all time. They serve samosas individually as well as in the form of a chaat or mixture of the samosas, cooked chick peas, onions, yogurt and red chutney. During the month of Ramadan you have to get special tokens to get these samosas.

Awesome service, awesome steaks, and no hidden taxes.
Molten lava cake usually unavailable, so we usually go to hotspot cafe 5 min drive from it :)
The place is kind of small, if rush hour. But after 10-15 Mins wait on a busy weekend you can get a seat. Good air conditioning and dim lighting, good for romantic dates and relaxing dinner.

Chaaye Khana Bahria Town

Reviewed By aash4ever - Romford, United Kingdom

I enjoy going back to this place regardless of how many times I've already been. I love their breakfast omelette options and the cleanliness of the entire experience be it food or the restaurant as a whole.
Must try are:
Cheese chicken samosa
Aloo paratha
Sweet lassi
Side orders with omelette (muffin) I thought it'd be a normal muffin but it's actually a muffin made out of egg...
Highly recommended as couples or as families.
