we often went to this nice and comfortable cafe while we stayed at puyo. was only place we met that offer real expresso coffee in the town.sandwiches were very good. had to wait long time for serve but it was ok because they had Wifi there. prices are little bit expensive ( capchino $2,50 ) but we were satisfied there.

Our restaurant is one service of Hosteria Finca El Pigual. This place is open to everybody who wants to have a meal at lunchtime or at night. You don't need to be already our customer in the hotel to go the restaurant. We are located on the other side of Puyo river. You have to cross a bridge suitable for cars. After that you are entering in a place full of nature, calm with many green areas and several paths where you can walk on. Visit our place while you are waiting for your meal!

This was our second visit to El Pigual, approximately one year apart. The owners and staff all remembered me and treated me like royalty. Edgar, Edison and Miguel are precious and went above and beyond to bring fresh towels, open the sauna and Turkish baths at odd hours (even though they had to sit and wait on us to finish before they could clean up and go home) they do all of this with a smile. The food is absolutely delicious, and we ate breakfast and dinner there every day for a week. Once again, Edgar and Edison served us and our large group with efficiency and huge smiles.
The owners go above and beyond to make everything perfect. They are kind and attentive. Most of all, I appreciate the sense of security I feel when taking large groups to this resort. There is no better location in the Puyo area. I can't recommend it enough.

It tries quite hard. It has artisan beer and the salads are good. The deco is fun and there was a crowd when I went (twice). The service is chaotic though and you just have to push them a bit after they've forgotten you.

There are not many seafood places in Puyo but this is definitely my preferred one. I had "daily catch" ala plancha. Fish was very fresh and grilled just right ... not over grilled. Service could be faster.

A group of us ate at the Tapas y Topes several nights ago. The food was good and attractively presented. Service was extremely slow, as in some Ecuadorian locations. I received my wine when I was almost finished with my meal. We were seated outside, and it began to rain; droplets seeped through the roof and onto our table. Several hours after our dining experience, four of the five of us reacted badly to the food and are just now getting better. Thank heavens there is a public hospital with an emergency room nearby.

This place servers very good selection of local foods. I visited this restaurant with couple friends and had local (organic) fish stew. It was delicious. Service personnel is very friendly and providing good and fast service.

Un café super agradable en el Centro de la Ciudad de Puyo, se disfruta mucho, ideal para disfrutar de un sabroso lunch en compañía de amigos, pareja o familia. Tiene un buen ambiente, el volumen de la música es perfecto para conversar. Lo recomiendo!
