We often go this restaurant in this small town of gorgeous Valley of Diana. The Chef surprises us all the time with changing menu and each time we encounter more and more creativeness. Who doesn't admire creative cousin may choose among the delicious and interpreted local menu.
The service is another great chapter of this restaurant, the sincere kindness and elegance can rarely be found in the highest level of city restaurants.
I really recommend this experience to everybody, since the cost is not that high for such a level and soon I believe they will receive the second Michelin star!

Tonino is a fantastic chef, entertainer, and personality. His meals are always impeccably cooked, thoughtful, and celebrate with gustatory joy all that southern Italy has to offer. Each meal we had at his restaurant was an epic and memorable experience, one that makes me simultaneously happy and sad that I might never get to enjoy it again.

The Taverna del Captain (affiliated FE.NA.LC) is a small and simple place situated among the hills of Vatolla a fraction of Perdifumo, (436 m asl) between Mediterranean scrub and olive groves. The Terrace overlooks Castellabate with a view of Capri, Ischia and the Amalfi Coast. Stunning sunset. We only accept bookings at least 12 hours before for fish, meat, celiac, vegan or vegetarian. For those who want to spend a few hours away from chaotic centers, it is the ideal place. The kitchen is simple with the natural flavors of our sea and our countryside.

After Reading reviews here, we went to La Taverna a few nights ago. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed but Ottavio, the owner, invited us in to eat dinner with him and his friends. We had a lovely evening and followed it up last night by going to the restaurant properly.
Ottavio and his wife welcomed us like old friends. We were made to feel incredibly welcome. The food was absolutely delicious - lovely fresh seafood and so well cooked. Our one regret is that we won't be able to go again before we return to England.
As for the location, it is out of the way but so worth it. The views from the Terrace are spectacular.
You must go to this place to experience both excellent Italian food and even better Italian hospitality.

Con gli amici della piscina abbiamo deciso di passare una serata insieme a tavola, visto che ci vediamo solo e sempre in acqua. Abbiamo scelto il baraonda di Nocera perché, a detta di un amico che c’era stato, si mangia una buona carne. Ci hanno servito salsiccia fresca e formaggi di ottima qualità, un fagotto
di broccoli delizioso per sapore e consistenza, e poi.... poi dell’ottimissima carne al sangue veramente saporita e cotta al punto giusto. Contorni di patatine fritte, crauti, patate al forno, broccoli saltati e poi..... poi tanto tanto Primitivo di 14° ad innaffiare e diluire il tutto in un inebriante serata allegra tra amici sani e atletici, in piscina e a tavola!!!
Servizio buono e accoglienza simpatica, buono anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo.

Initially I was very surprised that a kebab house would be rated the best place to eat in Eboli, but after eating there I whole heartedly agree. The food is amazing and incredible value, as well as made fresh to order. The staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful. Eat here!

We visited here three times last summer and ab loved everything from the delicious food to the amazing service. We couldn't wait to come again.
The evening started well great weather, lovely garden setting a few other diners at their tables.
Food is still excellent but as the garden filled up the service got worse. We had our first two courses that were delicious, the bread is excellent. We asked if we could have a 10 minute break before dessert. Nobody came back to see us at our table at all. So after a long wait we decided to leave and have dessert and coffee elsewhere.
Such a shame it spoilt an otherwise lovely dinner.
Maybe at busy times they need another waiter on hand.

Sono venuta diverse volte in questo locale dove ho sempre mangiato una pizza eccellente, molto leggera e soprattutto preparata con prodotti di ottima qualità. Lo staff è sempre molto gentile, ed il servizio attento e veloce. Inoltre dopo la cena non mancano mai dolce e amaro offerti dalla casa. In tutto ciò il conto non delude mai. Insomma se si vuole trascorrere una serata rilassata mangiando bene questo locale è davvero l'ideale.

By coindence we found this beautiful place at the countryside.
The fresh and homemade dishes with ingredients from their own land in combination with pure kindness and passion will make us remember our visit for a long time.
If you have the opportunity to visit for lunch or dinner make sure to do it, absolutely worthwhile.
