We were on the way from Vienna up north towards the Polish border and my partner made me turn off to the town Prostejov for lunch. He said he had known a good restaurant over there since he comes from the town. The town and the restaurant are very close to the highway D1. You can't park at the restaurant, there is very limited space, but you can leave your car in the close vicinity. From the main street you walk into a corridor with an arch leading to the main door to the restaurant. Upon entry you walk through the smoking part and then you enter a bigger area for non-smokers (We, Czechs, unfortunatelly haven't adopted tough anti-smoking rules yet). We sat at a big table and in a sec there was a waitress. We ordered water, juice and for the main meal we ordered chicken steak and American potatoes (Czech name for deep fried potatoes in a skin) with mayonaise and rolled potato pancake with cut meat inside with a local name "Drahansky jezek". The food was great, the meat soft and well spiced. A nice surprice for me. My partner already had some pleasant experiences from the restaurant. The waitresses were quick, not warm though. The light inside was dimmed, but I'm sure the reason wasn't that the clients woun't see what they eat.) Probably they wanted to make the room more cosy. After all, I can really recommend visit in the restaurant and wouldn't hesitate to turn off the highway.

Nothing special. The food is not bad but not even great. It is just ok but the main problem of this restaurant is the lack of attention for customers. They take your order and then they forget about you. They do not even ask if you want anything to drink. If you ask for a beer, you way need to wait until the end of your meal before to see it.

As we were staying in Prostejov we want to try somewhere different than the hotel. After reviewing Tripadvisor there weren't that many options but this one had some reasonable reviews.
A Pizza/ pasta restaurant, also does burgers.
Pizza's made fresh in a traditional oven - which you can see from the restaurant area.
Prices are ok; food was good
If we were in the area again would probably visit again

We pre-ordered extraordinary menu where lobster should be the king and the rest they should prepare in connection with that. We were surprised and very very satisfied - service excelent, taste fantastic. Plus they sugested perfect wine to each dish.

Všichni víme že maminky a babičky vaří nejlépe. Tak stejne se cítím u huducku. Skvěle jídlo, rychla obsluha. Navštívím znova a znova. We all know how Mother and grandmother food taste like. Si I have same filing U Hudecku. Great food quick and frendly service. Will come again and again. Recomend really Mother place and care.

Příjemné prostředí. Velmi rychlá obsluha. Jídelní lístek na menu s fobrým výberem. Na čepu slušný výběr piva i nealka. Vše za příznivé ceny. Doporučuji.

I visited this restaurant during short stop in Prostějov according the tripadvisor comments. There is nothing special about the place and interior, but service is kind and meals were good - Prosciutto-Funghi pizza and pasta with spinach, courgette and dry tomatoes. We received the candy with the bill. Nice suprise. Quality vs paid money means very fair restaurant. I would go there again.

We went to this restaurant that a friend recommended us and that was close to the place we stayed. The staff speaks very little English but did their best to help us. The beer tasted very good , very good food variety and very comfortable the price for tourists. Very good experience. We would return if passing Prostejov .
