Very Cozy Restaurant located inside the centuries-old house. Very helpful staff who speaks good English. The manual is not big but filled with local Delicacies. Prices were very reasonable and good selection of local wines. You may want to make a reservation on the weekends because place is quite popular with locals.

Situated in a frame really very beautiful at the heart of the city. Buildings of the XVIth century, attractive shaded court, beautiful internal room. Quality dishes, original flavors, quality products,A little bit atypical and thoughtful service. The plates of the menu surprise can however seem little copious.Nevertheless, a very beautiful address of quality and pleasure.

We booked a table for lunch to celebrate our wedding anniversary and I had high hopes as the menu is vegetarian and organic, and I was hoping for several vegan options. I was really looking forward to dining here. Sadly, my high hopes weren't realised.
Two of the three starters were suitable for vegans but only one of the three main courses which was a dish I don't like (stuffed tomato) was. Consequently we just ordered a starter. The gentleman serving us was not happy and I felt uncomfortable, particularly when he said we'd be going next door for a kebab afterwards! He kindly offered to do stuffed courgette instead but I told him that I was having courgette as my starter. He told me to have the salad instead!
We ate our pleasant enough starters of a salad and a courgette caviar (without bread, which had been given to the people on the next table with their starter), left our payment and left. I felt awkward. This wasn't the anniversary meal I'd envisaged.
For vegetarians I'm sure this is a great restaurant and it was busy, however I don't think I'll be going back. Very disappointing.

Having for lunch in this cosy michelin starred restraurant on the route to Cahors. The place is at chuch of the town not big size with lower and uper part sitting in conjunction to a small courtyard to go out to get fresh air if you like which is nice in warm days. Had a three-course menue including foie gras as starter, sweetbreads of veal for main and to finish with thin crispy pistachiao leaves strawberry Perigord, light cream vanilla, strawberry basil sorbet as dessert. Each of them was so delicious well cooked and beautifully presented. The foie gras on the rosted apple base dripping with acacia honey, some hazelnut oil and tangy cider was most impressive, which was a thick slice of goose liver top and bottom being pan seared to caramel colour, the first bite could sense the crispy crunchy shell and then followed by very soft texture inside that was so tender, rich and creamy taste melting in mounth felt heavenly. What a dish and one of the best treat for me during 9 days of our French tour. The region is quite famous for producing goose livers and their products, if you like foie gras dishes, the Perigueux is the paradise for you. The service was nice, attentive and not pushing to let you enjoy the meal in a relaxing way. Their wine lists were opulent with local and from Bordeaux too, ask for recommendation to pair with your dishes and won't be disappointed. We had white and red picked up by our lovely waitress both were very good. Will return for sure whlist if have the chance to be there again. Highly recommend. BTW, the scenery of the town along the river is beautiful and the Cathedral on the backgrond is stunning.

The restaurant is located on a quiet and pleasant square in the centre of the old town.
We enjoyed a superb meal here! The menu was interesting and the quality and presentation of the food was exceptional. The sauces in particular were both flavoursome and subtle and complemented our perfectly cooked dishes and, regrettably not so common in France in our experience, the vegetables were not overcooked but retained a still crunchy texture.
Service was very friendly, attentive and efficient and the wine recommended was most appropriate. We highly recommend this restaurant for a superb dining experience.

A friendly welcome and service, decor was casual but smart, offered indoor (upstairs and ground) and outdoor (courtyard) tables.
We were offered bread and a wonderful amuse bouche and ordered our wine by the glass, all of a very high standard.
The lunch offered both a menu du jour or a la carte, but we opted for the menu of the day which was cod with mixed seasonal vegetables followed by a home baked apple tart.
Including the wine it was keenly priced at €22 per person.
What a great experience, comes highly recommended and certainly a place we would return to enjoy again.

AMAZING! This restaurant is, without a doubt, one of the very best dining experiences we have ever had. We took the 7:30 Seating and as it was we did not finish until 10:00. Nothing is rushed and we did not have to wait long for any course. Cantell and Sebastian (II believe her husband is the chef) do it all. She knew we needed help with the menu since we do not speak French, and she printed it up in English for us. She was polite, pleasant and accommodating, even though she was very busy with the 12 other people she was serving. You have a choice of either 4 or 5 or all 7 plates. We chose the four and she was gracious enough to let us substitute the monkfish for the rabbit plate (for 6 euros a piece more). We started with champagne, which was 11 euros and for the starter they served raw trout/goat cheese/cucumber and apple. Then came Beet/red fruit and sage and then the entre of Monkfish/eggplant/lemon and juniper. Lastly the dessert was a delicious melon/elderberry with yogurt which tasted like a softened vanilla ice cream. Each of the four plates were a masterpiece of art and the flavors intermixed were profound but were so light that none of it made you feel full. Most probably because of the small portions!
The very small inside atmosphere is quiet and romantic. It is somewhat contemporary, very clean with clean lines and lighting. It is located just a bit outside of Perigueux and the prices were quite reasonable. For the four plate dinner it was 32 euros and the 7 plate was 52 euros. We also had a bottle of Bordeaux wine for 34 euros. All in all, we would definitely return, recommend and rave!

Saw this restaurant up a tiny street and liked the look of the menu. When we arrived at 7.30 it was nearly empty, when we left at 9.00 it was completely full - of French. The food is fantastic, and the service was amazing - the whole restaurant (25 people) was looked after by the one lady. Thoroughly recommended!

Great tapas-style dishes offered in the traditional Spanish mode of pick n mix format especially at Lunch. While here look outside to explore your renewed energies apres this satisfying dining option. The town offers history and bucket-loads of charm. Its easy to amble past pristine pale-stone with blue & green pastel shutters to the daily market and the shopping street, Rue Limogeanne.
You feel the grandiose nature of the town from elegant courtyards, snazzy boutiques and lovely eateries. Take note... cleanliness is a virtue in Perigueux so follow the crowds from the Cathedral along elegant townhouses with manicured lawns lead to the lovely Parc Gamenson.
