Extra points for the staff accommodating a large group of 20+ for lunch without knowing in advance. Some of us ate on the rooftop, which was lovely to see above the city. Food and drink orders was placed and delivered in a good manner of time again considering they had a lot of orders at once. Myself, the seafood pastilla was super flaky on the outside and over filled with seafood! A friend ordered a salad, the presentation and taste were both awesome. Tourists a reminder that if you ask for ice it is most likely made with their tap water. No WiFi, clean bathrooms, credit cards(no Amex) are ok prefer cash.

In a town not renowned for its dining scene, this French-run restaurant is a glorious exception. Owner Brahim Amdiaz is also an active subscriber to the slow food quality ethic. Checkered floor tiles and red tablecloths give it the air of a French bistro, but the cuisine is high Moroccan, with French panache. House specialties include pastilla (salty-sweet pigeon in puff pastry) and camel meat with pureed potato, served in a gingery Mali sauce. There are several four-course set menus available.

Our hotel booked us a table here. We were the only customers which was very odd and the rest of the place was dark and cold. The three course menu de jour was 300+ dirhams for basically nicely done tajine and meat. I wouldn't bother spending the money here - better to get taxi into town and eat more cheaply!

My husband and I really enjoyed our dinner at this restaurant. We shared a great platter of vegetables and little vegetable filled pastries and then had lamb chops. The menu offers Moroccan food and French. It was nice to have something besides tagine! The decor is very interesting and romantic as tables surround a large pool in a big open columned room with a wall of different lantern lights. It was a tad cold inside. The restaurant is hard to find in a residential neighborhood but worth the search.

Arrived very late at the Hotel and started walking to downtown area of Ouarzarzate. We passed only 1 restaurant before "3 Thes" and after not seeing anything else nearby we decided to eat here. It looked very basic from the outside and the menu is not different to any other place. However the inside is small and cosy and clean. we were greeted friendly and ordered Tajines and Couscous. We had to wait what felt a long time, but to tell the truth, quality food takes some time. It turned out to be good Tajines and by far the best Couscous we had in Morocco. I strongly recommend going there and have couscous!

We stayed one night at the adjacent Sultana Royal Golf Hotel and had dinner in the hotel restaurant. The food was international with favorites such as Ceasars, Carpaccio, Pasta, lamb leg etc. The food was very good though we missed the local touch a bit. The prices were on the higher side, almost European level. The setting inside is cosy with a local touch and many cushions, there were only 3 tables occupied as the hotel apparently wasn't fully booked. Service was good, unfortunately the Terrace with an outstanding view over "La barrage de Mansour/ Lake Mansour) was closed due to strong winds. Clean facilities and a nice place to stay.

We stopped at Dar Isselday on the long drive from Mhamid to Marrakech. We enjoyed a wonderful leisurely meal in a lovely setting on one of their terraces. Many drivers stop at the tourist restaurants which have all the hustle of Marrakech. For a wonderful & relaxing experience have your driver staop at Dar Isselday.

Sometimes you just need to not have a tajine! The pizza here was good and service also friendly. It is right on the square where the mini cars for children can be rented. We didn't have any, but we're told the salad is safe here...

We were in Morocco during Ramadan which meant a lot of places were closed and upon calling this restaurant we were welcomed with open arms and even asked what we wanted ahead of time so it would be prepared on arrival!! The kasbah which this restaurant is in is very famous and absolutely amazing to see. After our meal which was huge, great quality and very tasty we were shown around the entire kasbah and had an opportunity to take loads of photos and learn a lot about the history of the kasbah and the people who lived in it including a walk around the oasis.
Our only regret is not staying here instead of in Ouarzazate :-)
Highly recommended!
