There's is always a warm and smiling welcome at des Arts, the service is perfect and quite quick. The food has an international ring, but is mostly French influenced. We enjoyed snails baked under a buttery crust in a cream sauce with morel mushrooms, gorgeous. It was a hot day and the special was pressed salmon with a huge fresh salad, the dessert is amazing. You choose one thing out of two, say apple crumble, but your plate contains a little of everything else! peach soup, macaroon, ice-cream, wafers, all delicious. With fixed prices, between 14 and 20 euros you can't go wrong.

Lunchtime restaurant(service until 4 pm), to eat in and also to take away with a shaded Terrace in the afternoon. Local and worlwide food made of fresh regional products. We also offer meals to take away for dinner or for banquets. Come to the Croc'Odile to discover our modest cooking, simple but always in the service of your taste bud.
If you are looking for a quick snack, not expensive, excellent food and wine, with a twist different from anything else you would find in Nyons then this is certainly the place. We paid EUR 10 a head for our food and drinks (rose included). For this money it is basically impossible to beat. Ok, it definitely has the look and feel of a snack bar, but the food doesn't at all, nor does the service which is quick and certainly a lot more compelling than what you would expect in such a place. We came here for lunch, totally out of the blue, and I don't regret it a second. On a hot midday this was the best place we could find.

Young couple running this restaurant. He is sommelier and his wife origin Taiwan both offering their skills in cuisine and knowledge of wine. We had excellent foie de volaille salad, lamb with sage sauce cooked to perfection served with potato gratin. A wine suggested from near Visan- perfect. Dessert was Mont blanc- meringue, sugarless cream and topped with crème de marron- delicious. Highly recommended. We will return.

In Nyons for a few days, we went to La Batida that had re-opened after a few years off.
Not only the atmosphere inside is very pleasant and one can admire beautiful portraits of African people and Senegalese scenery, but we were warmly welcomed and the food was copious, tasty and fresh. We had chicken Yassa, lime marinated prawns, home made "profiterolles" covered with lucious chocolate sauce, and all was delicious!
I recommend that you go and enjoy the warmth and the exotic touch of chef Cher, who came from Senegal a long time ago and does well what he does.
A place to visit, for lunch and for dinner !

My husband and I had dinner there with my sister in law and her husband. The food was very good but not exceptional.
Our waiter was charming and we received excellent service. I particularly liked the vegetable starter with the savoury ice cream .
The restaurant is on a slope so the outside Seating can be a bit uncomfortable, however we were given plenty of cushions to help compensate for that.
I would be happy to recommend it and next time I'm in the area would go back.

We were passing through Nyons around dinner time on a Sunday night and decided to stop for something to eat. We had seen some good reviews of the restaurant next door but it was (like many restaurants in rural France on a Sunday), closed.
After looking at (and quickly deciding against) the bustling tex-mex restaurant across the street, we saw this tiny hole in the wall, with one seated table and a small, but intriguing menu. We were quickly welcomed inside and seated by the chef, who was also the owner and (for the night) host/waiter/busboy/sommelier/line cook/pastry chef/dishwasher/entertainment. Yes - turns out they're not usually open on Sunday either, but a special occasion and our good fortune gave us the opportunity to dine here. We marveled at the one-man show that somehow efficiently delivered three delicious courses of simple yet elegant and flavorful French cuisine, with an Asian flair. We also enjoyed some local goat cheeses and wine, which were served with generous abundance. After dinner, after the other tables had left, we chatted with our host for what seemed like an hour - very friendly and charming guy who happens to speak excellent English. All in all, a exceptionally enjoyable meal. Seriously, just go.

Rue des Déportés is a narrow street with restaurants spanning nearly it's entire length. With all providing al fresco dinning, it can be a challenge navigating safe passage! There is a wide selection of food choices, but when in France eat French, and when in a medium sized village, like Nyons, eat local. L'Adress provides meals with locally sourced food. The restaurant it's self is tiny, with room for no more than two people in the kitchen. After two weeks in Nyons, it seemed the restaurant had only one waiter, a young women who provided superb service. The food and service were excellent, and the toilet was amazingly clean! Good food and value!

by far the best restaurant in Nyons!! my family and i used to visit every year and occasionally still do. when we come we eat here at least twice a week because we love it!! the owner is called Dominique she is fantastic. her english is great and she always greets everyone with a huge smile!! on top of the friendly manner of all of the staff, the food is great too. there are 7 of us in total ranging from almost 50 to 9 currently, and we all find several dishes we want leaving us with the hard decision of what to eat. plus the chefs are very flexible and will willingly alter ingredients to suit individual requirements and tastes. you are guaranteed to find something for everyone and if not i have no doubt they will make something especially. do not visit nyons without eating here!! plus check out the decor inside its great!! BON APPETITE!!
Nyons has a lot of restaurants but this lively place with great choices was so good it required two visits. The services is attentive but not overbearing and the menu provided plenty of choices for our mix of vegetarian, pescatarian and meat eaters. Sitting outside is great but one windy evening we were happy to sit inside the well decorated large room. I'll be back next time I go to Nyons.
