Our cosy restaurant is located in a monumental building near the harbour of Nijkerk. Across from City Hall and on walking distance of the town centre. In our restaurant you can enjoy a nice evening with friends, family and/ or business contacts. We change our menu at least 5 times a year and in our menu always contains season produkt such as aperges, mussels and game. Parking is free on 40 meters walking distance. We hope to see you in our restaurant!

nijkerk is a city close to Amersfoort and has a number of restaurants situated in the centre.This restaurant is a 10 minutes walk from there, has a large Terrace on the corner.
the menu is standard like everything in this place is standard. Service okay but the food itself needs more attention and passion. Maybe look for another chef in the kitchen ?
Compared with the quality of food the restaurant is overpriced

The location of this restaurant is not the most favourable, although situated along the river. A bit of the beaten track, it does a good job of attracting customers. The ambiance is nice, the service friendly and knowledgable and the food is inventive and very tasty. They will accomodate almost any dish to your allergies and still make it taste wonderful.

Please note, my notes and review concern the restaurant part, there's also the so-called bodega part and I am less happy about that part, so I always reserve at the restaurant part. Variety of the menu is great and changes every now and then, also seasonally influenced. Both fish and meats are good, just go here and experience it for yourself.

My husband and I went with family and tried several dishes and were very surprised by the mustard soup. It was amazing and delicious and it is just what you think. But i would have never thought to have something like that. Now that we have tried it, I want it again. Creative and innovative, this would be a restaurant I would love to try again!

The place is very cute and elegant, outside and inside.
Food is too good, not very big dishes but enough. The carpaccio and the tenderloin are awesome; The Cod is normal and vegetables are awful; Dame blanche is tasty. I don´t recommend the house sorbet.
I tasted here one of the best potato wedges I've ever tasted.
The only bad thing is that they are very slow, you have to wait a lot for the food.

We got the hint from the local vvv to have an coup of coffee at this place. After drinking a nice late we enjoyed a good lunch even.
We enjoyed this place with the special service you cannot find anywhere else
Parking is free at the left side of the building.

We visited De Vuurtoren earlier and since it was on our route we decided to pay another visit. This visit was just as pleasant as the previous; nice ambiance, friendly staff and good food. We would certainly recommend it.

We arrived as a group of English travellers and the welcome was excellent. We explained that we needed lots of carbohydrates as we were cycling a long way the next day. The fantastic staff gave recommendations and guided us though the gigantic menu. All ( and I mean all, there was a lot) of the food was top class.

This place is hard to fault. The menu is interesting and varied, and is good value for money given its standard. I had a shrimp cocktail and rib-eye steak. Both were excellent, the steak being one of the best I have ever eaten. Excellent wines too.
There is a relaxed feel with some of the cooking taking place in an open area in the centre of the restaurant.
The grounds looked very attractive and I would like,to visit again in the summer.

This is a refreshing addition to the restaurant options in Nijkerk. It has a laid back atmosphere and the food is good. Would definitely recommend.
