I can be a coffee snob at times. We were visiting Newton and I was in dire need of a good coffee cocktail. I did a search and stumbled on Uncle Nancy. The coffee was great, service was exceptional. Would highly recommend Uncle Nancy's.

Moo's has got to be the place to go in Newton. Excellent barbeque, burgers and great sides. The pulled pork was among the best I have had. The burgers are top notch the corn bread muffins, fries and texas toast are all excellent as well. If you are on I-80 take the take and stop, You will be glad u did! Aldo they will give u a name for your order we were the Avengers the next couple was Bonnie and Clyde. A neat extra touch.

I have tried at different visits,the ButterBurgers, Crispy Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, North Atlantic Cod Dinner, Northwoods Walleye Dinner,cheese curds, fries, onion rings, soups, salads, frozen custard desserts. I have never had a bad meal at this or any location the staff was friendly, food was delivered in a timely manner.

I love to stop by Bridgehouse as often as finances allow. The coffees are wonderful and the staff is great. They were so accomidating to allow several of us to invade one afternoon for a mini celebration, were very hospitable and even told us not to worry about cleaning up after ourselves! I love the Christian atmosphere, they are a huge asset to downtown Newton, stop by when in town!

We attended a large group function here. Menu prices were fair. Food offering was varied. Fish, beef, pork, salads. Steak was cooked as requested (Ribeye) but was a little too well marbled. A pleasant meal with no complaints on service, food or atmosphere.

Excellent friendly staff and quick service especially since located in the Hy Vee store. Only thing was having to wait until 9 am for Starbucks stall to open. Would be great to have a Starbucks that's open a little earlier for business travellers to use going to Des Moines. Up side was that I could have a later start in the morning as I was a tourist on holiday and just had to have my Starbucks fix for the drive on the Interstate. Shame you guys don't sell caramel waffles - can get them in Scotland but not in the US of A. Good coffee and great chat! Looking forward to my next visit.

The buffet was good, full salad bar, 6-7 choices of various pizza (not great but good tasting), fried chicken with all that goes with (mashed potatoes, green beans, potato chips, biscuits, etc) and desert pizza with frozen yogurt.... the cashier was nice and friendly as was the person bussing tables.

I ordered the filet mignon and it was tough and underseasoned. For over $25, I expected better quality. My husband had the chopped steak and it was ok. Fantastic Breakfasts can be found as well as overall just great comfort food for lunch and dinner. Pot Roast and many meals compares to Grandma's home made cook'n. They have a really good Tenderloin too. Can't say I've ever had a bad meal here. Service is great so make sure you tip good!
