After some less than favourable experiences in mamaia for food we finally came across Chevalet. The food was very good and fresh despite it being quiet (end of season). The fajitas were huge and easily filled us. Mamaia isn't yet used to non romanian tourists and this came across in most places we ate where we were largely ignored. Chevalet on the other hand went out of their way to look after us, even offering blankets as it was cooler than normal for mamaia... not England however but we appreciated the offer. If you are fed up of cold food with lacklustre service in the area then the trek out to this restaurant is well worth it

Simply the best! I've been a employee in this wonderful place...after a couple of years I had my wedding there...I've seen a lot of places during my work as a waiter and a chef...but I can honestly say that this one is one of the most professional of all! All the best and Mr. Onut please continue what u know best to do...keep all your customers happy!

Plus: very good grilled fish and fish eggs in a nice location with a playground for kids. Helpful waiters.
Minus: smoking is allowed in half of the restaurant though there are also outside tables.
They used to make an excellent lemonade with honey and crashed ice but this year the recipe was downgraded: no honey nor crashed ice.

This is an old restaurant and as an exception it got better not worse. The service is kind of slow but the food fully compensates.

Central Pub Navodari is a small family business with less than 50 seats. We've opened in may 2014, and since march 2015 we serve the best pizza in town. Our pizza isn't a traditional Italian recipe, it's more a english recipe. As well we are proud of our porc ribs and the pork steak. We are almost allways full so please try to make a previous rezervation.

A Western Pub in downtown Navodari , with a pleasant , draft beer and Guinness beer imported. Food consumed only good crowds and smoke , especially good music and excellent sound system they do not hear others at the table .
What is immediately noticeable in this restaurant is spotlessly clean and the service impeccable .

We were large group of 70 people for dinner. The restaurant is directly on the beach but not overly romantic setting as it is between unfinished buildings about 50 meters from the sea. The interior is a bit cold with large round tables. The winter garden has small tables. Not really romantic setting. The food was good. We had way too much of it - for which I assume you can't blame the restaurant but our organizer :-) overall nice. May give it another try...

Located a bit off the beaten path this nice restaurant moderately priced offers a good array of fish dishes. I got there on a week evening so the service was prompt, dishes delicious- I was told they have a fishery nearby- . Would recommend it for a good Romanian cuisine made with fresh local fish.

i never would have guessed this place could have been a fish restaurant. it is situated at a balcony of a flat. if you guess it, you will be surpised, if not, you will get salmonelo from tashaul
