Another Broken Egg is a restaurant chain. One of the newer restayrants has just opened im Mountan Brook, Alabama
We ate here before attending a football game at Legion Field. While the wait was long, the host was very accommodating. When seats came available at the bar, we decided to sit there. Worst mistake! The pregnant Bartender was more concern about the young ladies at the other end of the bar then us. She was rude and short with us. Given that we did not give her a reason to be rude, I will blame it on ignorance on her part. The food and coffee was okay. I was more so put off by the attitude and bad customer services of the bartender. I will not recommend sitting at the bar, if you're not young, blonde, and blue eyes.

They sell the best gourmet, all natural popsicles in Birmingham!
Yum. I love this place. It's like gluten free heaven as even their cookie pieces are gluten free. Yes, all of them! Try the buttermilk, chocolate, passion fruit or strawberry lemonade. Heck, all are yummy! You can even get them dipped or drizzled or dredged with chocolate, caramel, cookie crumbs sea salt...all kind of yummy things. The flavor combos become endless. They are fresh, natural and so good. Oh, and if you pick a flavor and end up regretting the choice, they'll gladly swap it for one you love. They're friendly folks.

Davenport's is everything a pizza restaurant should be, down to the red/white tablecloths. I don't know why it is my favorite, but it has been since I was a child in the 1970s when my mom would order a Canadian bacon pizza. Nowadays, when I'm in town, I'll share a sausage and mushroom pizza with a friend over a cold beer. I wish more restaurants would cut round pizzas into tiny squares before bringing it to the table, but they don't. I only get back to Birmingham about once a year, but when I'm there, I make sure to stop by.

El Barrio is delicious and consistent! After trying just about everything on the menu, I can say the attention detail and quality of food is papable in every dish. Plus, the bartenders are nice! Ask for an OG Margarita, it comes served as they did when they opened.
Two things to note about El B: 1) Lots of people love this place, read as the wait can be crazy, 2) If you can time it right, you can avoid the wait. Pro tip: Get there between 5:00 and 5:20 and you should be good, also go early on Tuesday and Wednesday for less traffic in general.

Stepping inside this restaurant, it's difficult to imagine that you're in Birmingham. No southern style food here; its menu is full of French items, and the waiter began the presentation with an elaborate array of specials, which all sounded delicious.
I opted to try an escargo plate for an appetizer and a more conventional "country dish" of croque madame for the entree. The restaurant scored well with both; in fact, the snails were tastier than most that I've had in Paris. This surprising restaurant lives up to its hype, and should be high on the list of any visitor who considers themselves a "foodie."
The service is very prompt and courteous, far faster than anything you'll experience in Paris.

Enjoyed Sunday brunch after church at Dyron's. We were celebrating my Mom's 76th birthday. Since we were a party of five, I made reservations early. We were seated promptly which I really appreciated. Ordered appetizers gumbo and peach muffins. Each was very good although I do not prefer my okra al dente in my gumbo??? Ordered fried chicken, beef tenderloin, shrimp and grips, omelet, and snapper. It was all delicious. I really enjoyed my snapper. Definitely recommend.

Enjoyed the entire experience-be prepared to wait if you dont have reservations. We were celebrating our Anniversary and they made it very special-let them know when making the reservations and anything extra you want or need. I had a pasta dish while partner had steak-perfect!!!! The deserts were great and huge. The staff was wonderful and made for a great night.

We have visited this restaurant on several occasions but on this visit we tried the mac and cheese stuffed egg rolls with sweet & spicy dipping sauce. All I can say is WOW. We have tried several of the other appetizers but this is my favorite. This is always our go to restaurant when visiting Birmingham, The food and service can't be beat!

you need to track this place down and add it. Great food in the Avondale district of Birmingham. Their phone is 205-591-1409
This place will not win awards for its fancy style but it may for the food.We sampled several menu choices- a fried green tomato BLT that was stacked high with artisanal bacon along with cheese grits and sweet potato fries. We ended with their over the top banana pudding. They do have a few tables outside- on a nice day those would be the place to sit.
