We were lucky to get the last table at Eksgården the Friday night of the "Harvest festival" ("skördefest") the last weekend of September, which is one of the most busy weekends in Öland. Despite the large number of guests the service was good. We had lamb for dinner and it was very good, served with vegetables, potato cake and red wine sauce. There was also live music this evening, a singer with his guitar, which was also nice.
We had visited Eksgården once before, but that was in the middle of the summer. At that time they also had outdoor Seating in the garden, which was also very nice. Both service and food was very good that time too.

Från matsalen har man panoramautsikt över odlingslandskapen vars horisontlinje slutar i Östersjön. Vi serverar enklare luncher och kompletta kvällsmenyer där vår målsättning är att använda oss utav lokala råvaror. Under hela dagen serverar vi kaffe och hembakat. Välj att sitta ute i trädgården eller i biblioteket som ligger i anknytning till matsalen. Vi har fullständiga rättigheter.

We made a stop while traveling through Öland as we were in serious need for coffin and sugar. Had some delicious pie in the backyard where you can relax in the sun or shadows and get a glimpse of the sea. Would like to try the main dishes next time. The dude at the counter was though not enthusiastic about them having guests but kept it professional.

Great food and location of southern Öland close to great long Beaches, culture and agriculture events. Organic from locally produced meat and veggies makes the dishes superb. A bit slow service and you need to make a reservation. Only open 4-10 pm in the summer. Check in their web-site. Cosy interior in lush, calm and beautiful surroundings. Definitely recommended, the best place to eat in that area.

Ett jättemysigt café som ligger på en fin plats. Trevlig personal och hembakt fika, serverat i jättefint porslin. Rekommenderar varmt ett besök.

This café and organic shop with vegetables is a great stop if you are driving around the southern part of the island. Everything is local food and even though they don´t have that many different sandwiches the all are delicious. A lot of different cakes, mostly with sebuckethorn, is also served. Take the opportunity to buy vegetables, marmelade and a lot of other local products.

Utvalt av White Guide till ett av regionens bästa caféet. Handgjord choklad och glass med underbart kaffe. Soppor, matiga pajer, sallader, delitallrikar och fullständiga rättigheter gällande vin, öl och starkare alternativ. Sommartid sitter du med fördel på vårt trädäck på 100 kvm med utegrill och utebar. Som tak har du ett vackert segeltak.

The ice cream was even better than I had hoped for. I had chocolate, hazelnut and stracciaella and all of them tasted like a bit of heaven. Definitely worth a visit! I bet you'll love the ice cream even if you're not be biggest ice-cream fan.

I´ve been eating here several times, good coffe and wonderful pastries, cinnamonbuns and cookies. Try their WONDERFUL Budapest-marenge cake. Nice sallads- very fresh and mostly a good soup of the day. Shrimpsandwich with lovely fresh shrimps but strange bread (to much spicies).

Nu var vi tillbaka och åt lunch den här gången. Det smakade bra. Vi beställde hamburgare som smakade mycket gått. Vatten eller lingondricka ingick i priset möjligen också kaffe på maten. Rimliga priser för att vara Öland och maten är vällagad. Trevlig miljö och det går även att sitta utomhus om man vill. Vill man hellre fika så går det också bra. Titta gärna in i den välsorterade fågelbokhandeln också som ligger precis intill. Bra med parkering. Vill man inte ha hamburgare så finns lufsa och några mer rätter på menyn. Stället ligger i Stenhusa och kommer du söderifrån ligger det på vänster sida. Går inte att missa.

Vi kom sent till Mörbylånga efter en cykleutflykt. Lite småhungriga frågade vi om det fanns något lätt att äta. Servitören var mycket vänlig och kom med olika förslag trots att måste ha förstått att vi inte skulle beställa så mycket.

God mat, liten charmig restaurang. När vi gick in trodde jag att det var ett misstag men när jag såg den thailändsk ägarinnan laga maten och smakade på den fantastisk goda maten förstod jag att jag hamnat väldigt rätt. Vi har varit i Thailand många gånger och har smakat alla variationer på thaimat och tycker att denna restaurang är ett bra alternativ i Europa.
