クリーム系のどら焼き、今ではコンビニにもあったりしますが、このお店は以前から鮮度の高い生どら焼きを出しています。
高速道路のSAでも買えたかもしれませんが、水上の本店は風情もあって寄ってみる価値があると思います。

コンビニやスーパーにも、もっと安くておいしいものがたくさんあると思います。
リピーターにはならないかな。

We found it inTrip adviser and rushed to get there before it closed. It happened to be the nicest place with the nicest host and cook with such warm greeting and accommodating. We have to go back again for breakfast. Next time we are staying there. Small cozy ryokan with private outdoor onsen.

The mushroom 'curry' topped with cheese disappointingly tasted like it came straight out of a can; it has nothing at all in common with Indian style curry. Relaxed atmosphere. Tables and chairs. Japanese language only.

The chef cooks a variety of cutlets, fish and seafood dishes. We had the pork fillet cutlet set, with a very nice entrée of vegetables, and a superb orange-yogurt sherbet for dessert. Pleasant and clean ambience, very friendly and professional staff; no English. They also offer Takeout bento options for 300 Yen off the menu price.

We wish to have just ebi tempura and soup. It turned out we had two big fat tempura and delicious soba which its soup is superb.

看板はありますが、食堂姉山の家と手書き風なものが道の端にぽつんと・・・この道でいいのか不安になりながら、落石ありの看板まで遭難するかもと空腹感なんかどっかいってしまう道をひたすら登り、なんやら畑 人が住んでそうな気配車が見えてくる。あった！！ここでいいんだこの感動がたまらなくいい。やっと帰ってきたよおばあちゃんと玄関に入りそうになるくらい普通の家
縁側で子供さんが宿題してたりして、岩魚の塩焼きオーダーが入るとじいちゃんが囲炉裏で焼いてくれます。
手打ちそばに自家製野菜のてんぷらエビいりで、これが美味い。
席に着くとお新香とおやきのサービスがあります。おやきも美味しい
ただ、開け放っているため あぶ ぶよ 蠅は自分で退治してねと蠅たたきも完備
一見の価値あり

Delicious pizza! Our favorite is the vegetable one and apple pizza for desert. They do not accept credit cards and sometimes it is closed . Better check before walking there. They have lovely glass accessories for sale.

Delicious and quite affordable! We come to this restaurant once / season as they have seasonal kamameshi. I love their japanese style wagyu/ steak with ginger or teriyaki sauce and chestnut ice-cream.Call for reservation before you decide to visit,it is often packed.
