An independent coffee place that offers fresh food as well as quality drinks. Our coffee beans are roasted weekly at Oak Cliff Coffee Roasters. There's indoor and outdoor seating, live music on occasion, and lots of space to stretch out and relax.
The Lighthouse has terrific sandwiches and homemade soups. The Michigan chicken salad is wonderful and if they have the White Chicken Chili, it is a MUST have!!!! It is a small cozy place with neat artwork in the entryway...fun to check out local talent!

Downtown establishment, decent burger, great atmosphere and helpful staff. Plenty of choices, you will not leave hungry but a little pricey on fries or onion rings. Will return!

We got these at work and everyone ate them up. I had the Tuxedo and it was moist and the icing not too sweet. The icing also tasted like you made it at home and not from a bakery with the meringue powder that most bakeries use. If they do use it, they use it perfectly. It is a blessing this isn't in my backyard. Would recommend them to anyone asking about cupcakes.

I visit Starbucks almost every single day & I always order the same thing. Just can't understand why everyone makes it different when it's the same recipe. This was one of those times. Drink was strong but not much flavor & that's considering that I have it with 8 scoops of chocolate chips. So again. I don't understand how 1 recipe is made differently almost 75% of the time. At least the customer service is always on point.

I like that the donuts are filled when they are ordered, which means that they don't get soggy. There were three choices of filling behind the counter, each in its separate machine (creme/custard, lemon, raspberry). The donuts were fresh, filled nicely, and had a slight crunch on the outside. The donuts and apple fritters are good.

Six of us visited for the first time. The prices are high, and many of our meals had small portions not comparable to price. My meal was the best value (Chicken Marsala). It was very tasty, juicy, and worthy of the price. Each person ordered something different, and most of the other meals were far from outstanding. The high prices will probably keep us from returning.

The trend in a number of donut shops seems to be filling the donuts after they are purchased. FM donuts does the same. The maple long johns and chocolate long johns I ordered were filled with a good Bavarian cream. The apple fritters, braided donuts, and others that I brought home for the family were good. The chocolate-iced cinnamon roll was a good, unique idea too.

We order here every week and I'm never disappointed. It is great food, fast. They are always busy too. I don't dine in because it's like a fast food restaurant but I order out a lot. Love their yum yum sauce!Thank you so much SeaShelly! We look forward to serving you again!

Needed a very special cake for my father's 90th birthday. Cake was to have an American flag with Flying 8th air force emblem and the Distinguished Flying Cross on top. After trying to find a bakery in the DFW area my daughter said some friends recommended Busy B's, so I sent them pictures of the two emblems and got an approximate price. The cake was done on time and for the price they quoted. And it was the hit of the party.
I will definitely use Busy B's for all of my family's special occasions. This was my first experience with this bakery, but it won't be my last.
