Metepec (Spanish: (help·info)) is a city and municipality in the State of Mexico in Mexico and is located directly to the east of the state capital, Toluca, at an altitude of 2,635 metres (8,645 ft) above sea level. The centre of Mexico City lies some 50 km further to the east. The name Metepec comes from Náhuatl meaning hill of the maguey plants. However, it is also known in the Matlatzinca language as "Nepinta-Tuhi" meaning 'people of corn land' and in the Otomi language as "Ntaguada".

Excellent restaurant with lots of room for large family gatherings. The owner is excellent and very down to earth and very accommodating. The food for New Years Eve was Excellent as was the service. The selection on the buffet was superb and food quality from appetizers to soup to main course was top notch and had great flavor. Would highly recommend it if you are in the area!

I really like going here because is conveniently located on Galerias mall. Great appetizers plate. I love the ribs combo. They have some "new" flavors like mezcal or habanero but I still prefer the classics.
Cool option to watch a game. They have this area for kids to play while adults enjoy one of their many cocktails.

We enjoyed a wonderful late lunch there this week. we were finished for the day and stopped in for a late lunch. the food and the service couldn't have been better. In fact, I overate because I couldn't stop eating my steak. We also enjoyed some fine red wine. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for and this was enjoyable.

Mexican cuisine is one of the most important and most extensive in the world.
This restaurant is a seafood restaurant with modern Mexican cuisine that serves mainly their creations that have evolved for many years.
The shrimp and lobster tacos are very good. All shellfish cocktails are also a safe bet.
Basically the whole menu not only good but unique to this restaurant.
The secrets (as is with all seafood) is to choose local fish caught in the wild. Red Snapper, Mahi Mahi are good examples as to what to choose and Sole fish and Maine lobster are NOT a good choice because they are pre frozen.
Go with local catch and you can't go wrong.

This restaurant is right next to the hotel i am staying, was an easy choice for dinner. the food is good, atmosphere is good, cost is not that bad but slight bit on the higher side. overall a good experience.Thank you for your comment. This is my favorite restaurant in Toluca. It has a casual atmosphere, an amazing and delicious variety of dishes and very decent wine selection.
I have visited this place for business, couples and even for my birthday. This place always delivers great food and a great time.
Although I must say, pricey. Still, it is worth a visit!

Had visited this place several times and is like a chain mexican restaurant. Drinks above average and food to nibble is quite allright. Music is up to date, parking and space can be packed so arrive early on thursday, friday and saturday.

I finally made it to Nolita after Reading the reviews here and having several friends recommend it. I would say that Nolita has the best pizza I have ever found in Mexico after 20 years of searching. Nolita gets the balance between cheese/sauce/crust just right, and the sauce tastes great. I tried the Popular, pepperoni and shrooms, and loved it. The pepperoni is high quality and well cooked to give it a strong full flavor, and the mushrooms are fresh. Service was quick and attentive despite the full dining room. I will be back!

I like everything here. Owners are kind and attentive, the place is beautiful: an art gallery / museum / restaurant bar. An old building, art on the walls, excellent food, fine wine and authentic local beverages (as mescal) will delight your senses. Come and see a real “troje” (kind of a granary), they kept it.

This is a nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere and good food. I would recommend it. The only minor annoyance is the waiter trying to push the guests into ordering expensive items.
