It was one of those very rare occasions that we get to Auckland...Ahhhh "The Traffic"....anyway, we did what we had to do while down there and then decided we would meet my Niece for lunch. This was the perfect choice.....great views, great food and good company. The staff were very warm and friendly and the meals we had were very tasty. We will definitely go there again the next time we "HAVE" to go to Auckland....lol.

Skipped the buffet simply because of the following;
--it was NOT at all appealing
--poor presentation
--limited choice, and
--$41/= is nothing but a RIP-OFF
So ordered a la carte and after a long wait was served food that was certainly NOT of the Holiday Inn standard. On a brighter note, I must confess, the Waitresses were very polite and extremely courteous considering the restaurant was pretty busy with in-house guests.

False advertising! No more fine dining than flying to the moon! The worst meal, service and atmosphere we've experienced in a long time.
Dinner for 4, reservation made so you expect some kind of service.
Between the four of us we ordered the steak, lamb, chicken and risotto. All except the risotto were virtually stone cold and had to be sent back. Staff stood around the room with arms behind there backs, didn't offer to refill wine glasses or anything. The dining room was lite up like a Christmas tree, no ambiance what so ever. Very disappointing and left hungry and will never go back.

Although we accepted the waiter's offer for garlic bread, we were quite disappointed to realized that it was nothing more than an hamburger bun with a splash of garlic butter. Be cautious about any menu item changes (e.g. chicken vs beef), as you will notice a price increased on your tab. Food was average... honesty was below average.

We were looking for Chinese fare and the Asian staff in our motel directed us here. Massive communication gap perhaps ?? Well not quite as this place offers itself as an Indian and Chinese restaurant but Indian dishes dominate the menu. All the Staff were Indian and all the smells were Indian. We weren't up to eating Indian food on this night so we ordered a couple of Chinese dishes knowing if was a risky course of action. Well the Chinese dishes we ordered were recognisably Chinese but well short of our expectations. Maybe their Indian food is fantastic but we'll never know. The Staff were very kind, friendly and considerate but it took an hour to deliver just Sweet and Sour Pork and a Vegetable Chow Mein. We'd also ordered a Dried Fruit and Nut Naan Bread but either the waitress or the kitchen forgot it and it just never arrived.

We where so pleased to find out that Villa Maria Vineyard, was very close to the hotel we stayed at after a delay and being put up in a close by hotel., this was the best part about our horrible experience with the delays..
Its a lovely vineyard, great food and great wine. The children loved being outside on the lawn, while we where happy tasting some wine it has a very relaxed feel and nice and quiet.
They can Cater to dietary needs if needed.
lunch and platters where so good we had to order more... great food great wine and fantastic service...

After Reading several positive reviews I thought this would be a great place to take family visiting from overseas for dinner. I have eaten at many Thai restaurants over the last 30 years so I am familiar with this cuisine.The food was OK though I have had a lot better.Our guests also thought it was rather expensive for the quality.The staff were busy putting up xmas decorations which I found rather off putting while we were eating.Would not come back again.

Such beautiful cupcakes. I love the layout of the store and the staff were very friendly. These are hands down my favourite cupcakes ive ever had. Even got a smile from my partner who doesnt have much of a sweet tooth.
