Malappuram (also Malapuram; മലപ്പുറം) is a city in the southern Indian state of Kerala, spread over an area of 33.61 km (12.98 sq mi). The first municipality in the district formed in 1970, Malappuram serves as the administrative headquarters of Malappuram district. Divided into 40 electoral wards, the city has a population density of 2,083 per square kilometre (5,390 per square mile). As per the 2011 census Malappuram Urban Agglomeration is the fourth largest urban agglomeration in Kerala state with a total population of 1,698,645. Malappuram is situated 54 km southeast of Calicut and 90 km northwest of Palghat.

The daily thali meals is a good option as is the chicken masala and the dal tadka and other basic dishes. Its not really busy enough to go for more exotic choices.

Delicia is one of the oldest restaurants in town. Delicious food, warm & friendly staff and reasonable pricing. Easily accessible as it is located just next to Down hill Bus Station. Recommended

Been visiting this place since long but couldn't write a review. Yesterday was there with my friend and should say it was a wonderful experience again.
Kizhi biriyani and BBQ loved it. Just fish and nothing more. A quality stop on the highway with lots of space for your cars. Neat interiors, pleasing service and spacious too.

Very interesting location full with hotels, timber merchants, furniture players and most important Kottakal Ayurveda Vaidyasala which is world famous for its ayurveda treatments.

We were a group of 7 hence chose the top floor were service is provided. Ordered veg cutlets, onion uthappam, idli, plain dosa, vada and tea+coffee... food was average... cutlets were just okay... uthappam was good comparatively.. tea and coffee were bad... service was damn slow and we really weren't impressed with the food either

This restaurant is a franchise of the Albaik chain of hotels and keeping the same standards they have opened outlets in and around Malappuram. The restaurant is lavishly furnished and the service they give is excellent. The restaurant is well maintained, so is the open kitchen and have sufficient parking too. The main dish which we can say is the "Broasted Chicken" and apart from that Ckicken Tikka, Chicken Mandhi (with spicy sauce & Salad), Chicken Diamond (With Gravy), French Chicken are other items to be mentioned. I have tasted most of the dishes and I prefer Chicken Diamond which is an Arabian dish with Tanddori Roti. They give takeaway parcels too which is a blessing.

The Airlines Celestial in Malappuram is in fact a blessing; we can have authentic food with our family or friends in a neat restaurant with good decor and excellent service. They serve nice mutton & fish dishes and have a variety of other dishes including Arabian dishes too. One of the best restaurants in Malappuram which we can reccomend to our dear ones.

The restaurant is located on the way to Kottackal near Changuvetti Junction and it has got a number of specialities like airconditioned restaurant, banquet hall, board room, few huts for dining, childrens play area and ample car parking. Overall the ambiance is good. They serve traditional Malabari dishes, Arabian Cuisines and other South Indian Dishes too. I have been to the restaurant several times with my clients and the cuisines served were nice. I don't prefer spicy food but I found the dishes like Biriyani, Chicken dishes etc moderately spicy and well cooked. The service was good too.
