With it great menu and prices plus brilliant service !
Every effort was made to make sure we was happy in every way .

We went to this Restaurant with friends. The food was alright, but nothing special; I have had better and I have had worse. The waiter missed a main dish for one of the group ; we accepted that, without a problem. I suggest people read the menu details to ascertain whether service changes are included. The inclusion of service charges on my bill annoyed me beyond dreams. They say this charge is optional, but how many people would dispute this in public???. I'm sorry but I will go elsewhere.

We booked and visited early on a Saturday evening.
We were meet by attentive and helpful staff, as the evening progressed the restaurant filled up and I would say most tables where full by 20:00. There were a lot of takeaways being collected as well so it is popular with the locals. That being said there are no other Thai or Chinese restaurants in the area, so they have a captive market, which may explain the price.
We had two starters, two mains and a side dish of vegetables, one desert and a cider plus a coke. As one of us was gluten free and they offered gluten free we thought we would give it a try and where very disappointed in the gluten free meal. There idea of gluten free was we can do almost everything on the menu but without the sauces, as they are imported, and we don’t know what is in them, but we can do a sauce that is gluten free well that’s what we were told. Well when meal arrived the normal meal was great with plenty of meat in it. But the gluten free one was very bland almost to the point where it was tasteless. And the total bill was almost £70 as someone who lives in just outside the M25 in Buckinghamshire where you would expect to pay less than that for a better quality Thai meal I can honestly say we where very disappointed with the gluten free meal and will not be returning here

We came here last summer while on holiday and had a fantastic meal to the point we booked again to have dinner on our last day. Unfortunately I was ill so we left a day early so had to cancel....roll forward 5 months and our youngest asked daily during how Feb break when we were going to Verveine. First time the food was a tastebud's dream, the service spot on; the second time on a cold February day was equally brilliant. We all had a tasting menu which is great value for money. And yes as we left we booked again for our next visit in the Summer. I think it's now set in law that if we at Milford-on-Sea we need to come to this remarkable place with a chef and his team working their magic and the service staff with their warm approachable manner. I for one will make sure I'm a law abiding citizen.

Visited for lunch today with our elderly aunt. The staff were friendly, attentative and professional. Lovely atmosphere. Food was excellent, not much vegetarian choice but we couldn't fault what we had. So nice not to see risotto as the vegetarian choice. The meat eaters meals were excellent as we the puddings. We just couldn't eat it all! Will definitely be back again soon, couldn't recommend it enough.

Booked a table midweek for my husband’s birthday. Four of us in total. Lovely warm welcome on arrival and a roomy table reserved for us. Three of us opted for the ribeye steak special which we all said was the best steak we had ever tasted! Cooked to perfection which so many restaurants/pubs simply can’t do. The fourth main was gnocchi - again delicious. For dessert, two of us had the rhubarb and ginger crumble, served with custard. OMG! This was amazing......
The other two had a brownie and sticky toffee pudding - both so very yummy.
A delightful meal. Faultless and service excellent too. We will definitely be returning to try out the wonderful array of fish specials. Thank you to all front and back of house staff.

I've passed this delicatessen/café on foot and on bicycle several times, and this morning had morning coffee with panettone -- both excellent. A lovely clean shop: modern but discreet, and with a friendly proprietor and staff. Things on the breakfast and lunch menu — and the specials board — look tempting, and I hope to be back, with friends, to sample more.
The shop sells gluten-free pasta, so I suspect that the café can also cater to coeliacs.

The cave is fantastic. The staff are knowledgeable in the wine and spirit areas and terribly friendly.
They will do anything to help.
The cave is a wine bar/cocktail bar/bar with the added bonus of being a high class off license.
If your in Milford on Sea the Cave is a must visit whatever the beverage.
