Would absolutely recommend this place! The food was delicious and the drinks were great too! I ordered the pesto pasta and my wife ordered the mango chicken salad, both tasted great! We also had the Oreo Frappuccino and fruit smoothie, so good! I’d say the Oreo Frappuccino is the best I’ve ever had! The staff were also super friendly.

Panaderia Allemana used to be an excellent German bakery for years and years....but now they have expanded their services for breakfast, lunch and dinner: from local food to pizza and burgers, Deserts, etc.
best place to eat before or after going to the airport (they open at 5am) or on your way to the Beaches

Took business associates to La Mesa. The food was excelent as always, and Andre and Monique made us feel at home in thier home. This is easly the best food in Costa Rica. I highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our lunch at Taqueria Mazatlan. We drove straight from the airport after getting our car rental, before leaving town. We enjoyed a very nice meal, sampling a variety of Mexican inspired dishes including the chimichanga, nachos, and a variety of tacos. Their jugos are yummy and the prices are very reasonable (on the low side). Parking is in the shopping center.

Pointed out by our wonderful guide, Manuel of Guanacaste Viajes and Tours (go here they are extraordinary). We came here one night on our own. Excellent waiter who was frequently attending to any need we might have. Food was very good and price very reasonable. We were lucky enough to get to here a talented guitarist and singer. He had wonderful tone and sang with emotion and feeling. We really enjoyed hearing him. Setting is lovely with outdoor area. There was a young man protecting the vehicles parked out front who was diligent also.

Wonderful varied selections from small plates to entrees. Save room for dessert!
Full bar and nice wines. Service very personal and often served by the owner, Tanya. Menus in both Spanish and English.
Simple the best in Liberia.

Our group of four stopped at Tierra Mar based on the Trip Advisor review as we were returning from the Rincon de la Vieja national park.
Street parking was readily available and the restaurant offered plenty of Seating at lunch. There is an extensive menu (note: it is in Spanish only but if you have even a little Spanish, you should be fine) with lots and lots of choices. The manager who served us was very polite and helpful - he spoke limited English but with our limited Spanish, we all made out fine.
This is a seafood restaurant so most of the dishes are predictably seafood based.
Service was reasonably prompt by CR standards and quite attentive. The food was excellent and everybody enjoyed their selections. I had the garlic shrimp and they were excellent.
Highly recommended.

This is a great place to go in Liberia if you want to try typical Costa Rican food well made. It is like homemade food. Considering Liberia is hot and almost no restaurant has air conditioning it is always nice to have lunch or coffee with a nice and cool atmosphere. Owners are great people with a great service commitment. It is a must in Liberia.

We ordered steaks, chicken & Fajitas. Steak & chicken were awesome. Perfectly cooked and presented. It came with salad or beans or fries.
Easy to find as it’s straight down the Main Street in Liberia. Happening place so make reservation.
Service was very good. Spoke some English and menu is totally in Spanish.

I went for dinner with a large group from work, and everyone loved their food. From octopus to tuna to camarones, we enjoyed every bite. I highly recommend the jumbo shrimp prepared to order. Delicious! Service was also very good. Excellent choice for dinner. Will return.
