We had many dinners here at Central and food was very good. The menu has some stable items (gyros, saganaki, small fishes etc..) and daily changed specialties like mousaka, makarounes, lamb(excellent!) etc. Staff was great. Spiros (the owner) is very kind, always smiling on the place, never forgot to welcome or say good night to every guest.

The Le Grand Bleu Restaurant is ideally situated on the beachfront of Lefkos area and is offering to their guests Greek-Mediterranean specialties. It is a cozy place, where you can have your breakfast, as well as a tasty lunch and light snacks with the views over the Aegean Sea. In the evenings you can enjoy a fabulous dinner, or just have a nice glass of good wine or a cocktail. The owners have decorated their place with an individual combination of a colorful shabby chic and a refreshing Greek style,that creates a relaxing environment and a homey atmosphere. Mother and son work hard in the kitchen to ensure that every dish is excellent. They create special dishes every day with seasonal ingredients, allowing you to enjoy a unique combination of Mediterranean and Greek tastes. Father and daughter, that work in the restaurant area, are always happy to serve quality cooked food to all our customers. Sometimes the restaurant organizes special events, like candle light dinners at the beach or small beach weddings, unique and beautifully decorated especially for every occasion. All together, it is a place that makes you feel good and to enjoy a relaxing beach holiday.

Very smart restaurant in excellent location above the beach. Good service but not exactly engaging or sociable. My Greek salad had the meanest piece of Feta on the top ever. Probably less than half the norm. Didn't leave a tip, unusual for us.

The whole experience of eating here was something special. To start with it's in such a beautifully remote location. We were staying in nearby Miraluna apartments, and decided to walk 15-20mins through the pine forest to get there (which was amazing as the sun was setting, but exhilarating on the way back what with nothing but torches to light our way back).
Anyway, we were greeted by a lively and welcoming family and ushered into a beautiful courtyard. We were then shown into the kitchen where we chose our food. And the food was fresh, traditional and beautifully done, and plentiful! As was the local retsina. The cost of the meal was a lovely surprise too!

Seating overlooking the bay, great view. The fish was good, but nor really tasty, the price ok, they served vegetables before we finished the starters, so they were cold when the fish arrived. Restrooms: no toilet seats on the toilets. The management of this restaurant is improvable

This was probably the first restaurant to open in Lefkos, Karpathos. It is family run. The food is traditional. The fish is fresh because the owner is a fisherman and goes out every morning and catches them. I think the thing I like most about this place is sitting right on top of the sea and throwing bits of home made bread down to the fishes below; looking at the beach beyond, which is one of the prettiest Beaches on Karpathos and also at the Mountains opposite which are some of the highest on the island. It's a calming experience.

My famile and I have visited this place and stayed in the rooms over the taverna 5 summers. We have eaten at the taverna 100 times. The food is of a High quality and the owner, Vasilis and his family are brilliant people. The place is 5 meters from the Beach with a spectaculaire view at the sunset. If you are on Karpathos, it is a must to go and see Vasilis in Lefkos. Prices are also very cheap.

Our fish and octopus were perfectly cooked. Also fish cakes as started worked well. Clearly chef concentrates on anywhing coming out of sea, which is good, but then the sides (veggies, potatoes) were not so perfect.

I love this place. In 2014 we where in Lefkos 3 times, as in 2013, and every night we had our nightcap here - and also often our "watching the fishing boats arrive" coffee. The place is nice and clean and you sit allmost with your feet in the crystalclear water. This is the place to meet nice people, and the host, Tony, playes the best music in town. Tony allso tells the great stories from this arrea, and he's allways trying to catch the lunch on the small pier - this is quite a show. As an ekstra bonus everybody who has something to do on the harbour, has to pass this place, so you can follow all the activities here. This place IS Lefkos!

The homemade food is beyond every expectation. Everything is daily prepared with high quality biological ingridients. The best makarounes in Karpathos. Traditional plates in combination with a grpeat view and hospitality creates an ideal enviroment.
