I'll try to make this quick - the lobster is fantastic, the grilled mani mani fish is fantastic, the whole parrot fish is fantastic, the spaghetti bol is fantastic, the grilled chicken hotpot is fantastic, the chicken schnitzel is good. The staff are wonderful BUT remember you are on Fiji time so don't expect your food to arrive quickly. TIP: if you want an entree to arrive before your main make sure you tell them otherwise it will all turn up together.

Seaview Restaurant at Lautoka Hotel

Service is at a snails pace, even when there are so few diners. When the restaurant is busy, it's a nightmare. Prepare to be frustrated! Even better, take along a book or newspapers to read while you wait.
Some of their dishes use canned foods (example - canned chicken for salads) and canned coconut milk, which was a little disappointing. Maggi Noodles are used in Chinese dishes :/ and this seems to be the norm in many local restaurants.
There aren't many Pizza joints in Lautoka so theirs is pretty good.

Nan Ying

The Nan Ying Restaurant was our 'best' find this trip to Fiji. Clean, good food presented nicely, licensed and open 7 days a week. A short walk across Shirley Park from the Waterfront Hotel. The meals were priced for a budget minded traveller and the servings were generous. The Combination Wonton Soup was our lunch choice daily and it was not only delicious, but very filling. We loved the place.

Chinese food at its best. A mid day meal with a group of friends and a great experience. Clean, friendly service, a menu with lot of option above all, the best food. Deep Fried Squid and Garlic Prawn are the best. Value for money. A must if you are in Lautoka

Jack's

Jack's has a daytime 'on the go restaurant for breakfadt and lunch and across the road they have the most stunning restaurant for the evening meal.fit for a king . supply a birth

Reviewed By Aaron M - Geelong, Australia

While Jack's has nice products, the entire experience is ruined with their ridiculously pushy salespeople. As soon as you walk in, you will have a salesperson glued to you for the entire time you're in the shop. They will literally follow you around the entire shop within arm's reach and use every tactic they can to make a sale.
They might seem friendly, but they're not your friend. Their seemingly innocent questions and small talk is just part of their sales strategy. The more information you give them (eg: "we're on our honeymoon"), the harder they will push (eg: "these black pearls are the perfect memento for your honeymoon").
As soon as you stop to look at something or pick something up (don't pick anything up!), you will get sucked into a big sales pitch on the product with no escape. Not only will you hear everything about the product you're looking at, but they will show you every possible product that might go along with it and how you can bundle it all together. At one point our salesperson had 7 different products laid out telling us how we should mount them on the wall together.
Our salesperson just kept on going for a astonishing amount of time because I couldn't figure out how to stop him. Eventually we walked straight out of the shop because we couldn't handle it anymore.
We ended up buying all of our souvenirs from a different shop just because the salesperson was so extreme.
I thought I was used to pushy salespeople, but Jack's really takes it to the extreme. If you think the crafts markets in Sigatoka are overly pushy, go visit a Jack's.

Had the fried chicken and jamaican chicken salad. Fried chicken was cooked to perfection, really crispy exterior, tender juicy interior. Jamaican chicken salad was delicious, jerk sauce was spicy - nice! The place gets very busy during lunch, expect a wait. Extremely understaffed- please hire more people, the poor servers do their best but can't keep up with the crowd.

This cosy coffee shop is located at Vuda Point Marina. It offers great coffees and some baked goods. It does offer a more extensive menu, but not a place I would recommend you eat a "meal" at. Great for snacks, cold drinks, etc.
Located right on the water overlooking Vuda Point Marina, so an ideal place to meet friends and just have coffee and/or play cards or read the complimentary papers that the Boatyard provides to its patrons. Free wi-fi is a nice bonus.
This coffee shop is open for breakfast and lunch and is not open in the evening.
