We went to the distillery on a week day early September 2013. We were welcomed by the owner who answered our questions on the production - in English. He let us taste a lot of his products, no limits! It was a very pleasant visit. We ended up purchasing liqueur and schnapps.

We stopped here mid morning for a couple of cups of coffee. They were served quite quickly but were not piping hot and could be drunk almost immediately. The cost of €3.10 each was reasonable. My wife said that the ladies toilets were clean and di not smell.

Also die Location ist wunderschön und der Ausblick lädt gerade zu einem wunderschönen Essen im Burg Café ein. Im Burg Café eingekehrt findet man sich in einem netten nicht all zu großen Speisesaal wieder. Das Ambiente ist ok, speziell die Aussicht macht ja schon viel her, dennoch kann ich den Besuch nicht empfehlen (zumindest das Ausrichten eines Festessens in dieser Lokalität). Wir hatten eine Gellschaft von ca. 40 Personen und die Auswahl an Essen (als Buffet serviert) war zu groß und dazu auch viel zu bescheiden. Lachs war schon gräulich, Fleisch (nicht nur das Geflügel) war absolut ausgetrocknet und auch sonst fehlte es an vielerlei Ecken und Enden. Dessert war dann wieder in Ordnung. Der Service kam unserer Gesellschaft (keine sehr anspruchsvolle) nicht mehr hinterher, so dass man lange vor leeren Tellern aushaaren musste und auch oft genug die Getränke für seinen Tisch selbst holen gegangen ist - ein Desaster. Selbst der Tisch um Braut und Bräutigam wurde kein bisschen schneller bedient. Ich kann nur vor einem Reinfall warnen...

Not only was the pizza at Lex & Mex delicious, but the customer service, price of food and drinks and overall atmosphere were fantastic! We visited Lex & Mex twice over the 3 days we were in Landeck and had a great time just eating dinner but then again when we went for drinks and dancing in the upstairs part of the restaurant! We are considering coming back to Landeck for another ski weekend and will definitely make sure that Lex & Mex is on the agenda! :)

Lovely place, but sadly did not take credit cards.
Enjoyed one delightful lunch sat on the sun Terrace. Friendly staff. The food was extremely fast and the half a chicken and chips exceptionally tasty.
Beautiful washrooms.
Could not fault the place itself, but I don't like carrying cash.

The Gebhard restaurant is a welcome variation to the usual Austrian restaurants. The service is excellent. The food is well prepared and served with care. Not the 'usual' food but well balanced tasteful dishes prepared with fresh materials. The menu is somewhat restricted with 2 appetizers and 2 soups and a couple of main dishes. There is more variation in the desserts. They are equally nice. They carry a nice selection of wines with great suggestions to match the food, also for wine by the glass. Cost is 70 to 75 euro per person for 3 courses with drinks. Reservations are needed as the have less capacity when the hotel is full.

Leiche Wirt is a nice mountain restaurant with regular service. Only on peak times the waiting can be very long and there should be some more people able to take orders.

Schönes , sauberes Dorf mit 2 prächtigen Kirchen und einem interesanten Museum.Das alpenländische Flair wird lediglich durch das hypermoderne Rathaus gestört.

Klein aber fein und die Wirtsleute immer freundlich und nett, besonders Joachim. Feinste Spätzle und Vesperbrote und einen unübertroffenen Zirpenschnaps aus eigner Produktion. Zum Wandern sehr zu empfehlen. In knapp fünfviertel Stunden auf dem Venet, auf einem schönen Panorama Wanderweg. Die Aussicht bei schönem Wetter einfach traumhaft. Wer nicht allzugut zu Fuss ist, kann die Alm auch mit dem Auto auf einer Naturstrasse von Fliess, oder Kaunerberg her gut erreichen. Wir waren schon im Juni 2013 hier und waren und sind auch heute noch begeistert von der Gastfeundschaft. Danke liebes Almteam.

Nach der Neueröffnung 2017 ist das eine tolle lohnenswerte Location mit toller Sonnenterasse mit schöner Aussicht. Die Küche ist gut Bürgerlich, das Personal freundlich. Saubere Toiletten. Meine klare Empfehlung!
