TA reviews brought us to Eve’s, and we had fun with the menu variety and the gooood food.
Wife had Jaeger(?) Schnitzel and I had Viener Schnitzel ... Both were delicious. Red cabbage and German potato salad were very good, as was the spoetzel (?).
Took some German Haribo gummy candies with us as we left, full and satisfied with the food.

Dairy Queen

What can I really say, it’s a DQ. Service was quick and friendly. We stop here almost every time we travel from San Antonio to Ft Worth.
If you're a Snicker's Blizzard fan be sure to ask for extra chocolate added to the mix, they're a bit skimpy on that ingredient. I’ve noticed that some DQ’s don’t put in any chocolate, but that’s not the correct recipe. If you order a large, it’s not going to have any mixed in the bottom quarter to third of the cup.

Men's room was a little more than unclean but the restaurant itself was fine.

This is a such an awesome little place, located in the former Sips Coffee Shop building. My breakfast burrito was delicious (as was the huge, freshly baked snickerdoodle I got to go!). Super friendly staff too. Will definitely make a return visit on my next trip to Lampasas!

We found this quaint, little, antique store today as we were on our way home from Lampasas, Texas. We had been looking for different off the wall items that we could use to create items to resell at Arts & Crafts Shows.
We hit the jackpot!

Not only did we find many eclectic items we could absolutely, not live without... but also a piece of "Aussie Heaven"!

The Aussie Meat Pies they served inside the small store were a perfect mid-day snack. The crust was perfect and the filling was down right scrumptious! They also have a cookie that is "to die for"!

We will be returning to revisit with the the wonderful, owners and stock up on Meat Pies (they also offer them frozen so you can take them home and bake them fresh whenever you want).

This is a great find in a small town. Everything is very good and if it says spicy it is! So be warned. The house dressing is a lemon garlic, it is very good. There is nothing bland about their food, it is very flavorful. Leslie was a great server!

Have passed by many times, but usually had the dog with us so we could not stop. No dog this time and it was just past lunch so we gave it a try. So few places in the Lampasas/Killeen area have oysters so I had to give them a try. I think they are the best I have had in Texas due to the the light breading that was easy on the cornmeal! And they were not overcooked. I had the oyster basket and the wife had shrimp. Both were good, and we both had red beans and rice as the side...also good flavor.

I stopped at Brad's recently and was disappointed again. This used to be one of the better burger places in Lampasas. I'm not sure what has happened but the burgers have not been up to par and the fries have tasted like they were left under a heat lamp for hours. Sorry to see this place go downhill.
