Our family tried this place place recently while visiting the Lake Forest area. This restaurant has excellent Italian food especially its pastas and pizzas.They also have some amazing salads and some other unusual but delicious offerings such as their special "sausage rolls". I'd recommend this restaurant for families. If you're a sports nut, you'll also like this place since they have TVs in every corner of the joint and a pretty large bar area. Beware of the service though. The waitress we had was very pushy and you could tell she wanted to turn over her tables quickly. I wasn't done with my entire meal and she took my plate away before I was done.

Because of its close proximity to where we stay on these trips, we use the drive-in. Not once have they let us down. Our order is always perfect, the food is always great, and the staff is always courteous. If you like In-N-Out as we do, this is the place for you.

Organic eggs, potatoes and toast. You can't beat Mother's sunrise special or the special price! At $2.99, it's the best deal in town. While you're there, shop for some organic produce - always fresh and delicious.

The sign outside King's Fish House says "We are open now." It has changed a bit (not always for the better) since we were last there. The nice private booths that we loved so much have been replaced with tables, and now the whole room seems excessively busy and noisy. The South African lobster tail with mashed potatoes and mac and cheese was delicious and well priced, as always . As we were finishing the main course, a group of 8 people sat next to us, and the additional chatter was so loud that we quickly paid the bill and left without ordering dessert. We hope that one day some of the booths will be reinstated.

This is across the parking lot from the Marriott C/Y I was staying and so I checked it out.
Located in a strip mall setting this place is a surprise. Once inside you will find a great looking interior, a great vibe and plenty of wine and beer choices.
The menu ranged from delicious gourmet cheese sandwich to full entrees that left me wanting to go back and try some of other choices for sure.
There are plenty of small plate choices, salads, sandwiches and entrees to choose from and range in price so you will be sure to find something that works for you're taste and wallet.
I'd guess the locals are well aware of this place but anyone visiting in this are would be impressed here also. Great Choice!

They have very large portions of food along with the best Fried Green Tomatoes you ever tasted. You also get never ending Strawberry Lemonade drink. The service is very good. The restaurant is very clean. They have fun with live music and entertainment. This place will keep you coming back for more. I always have a great time at Lucille's Smokehouse BBQ.

When passing by the busy street of Lake Forest Drive, you can easily pass through this longtime restaurant. It's hidden behind other local businesses. Just looking at this restaurant, you can see that it's been around, since 1979. You get good old fashion mostly American food. The biscuit and gravy entree is so good, you can lick the gravy off the plate. They load you up on the Chicken Fajita Salad, which the food actually gets piled up that it may spill off the plate. You get the hot chili and salsa steaming out of the salad. The entree also includes a fresh tortilla. The total comes out to be about $23.00. If you are looking for good value food in this area, I highly recommend this restaurant.

BJ's is convenient. They are open all afternoon and until 10 pm, they have booths for seating, parking is easy, and they have a good selection of dishes and wines by the glass. At 3 pm we had cherry chipotle glazed salmon with sweet potato fries, which we highly recommend. We had a glass of the cheaper of the two moscatos which tasted just as sweet as the more expensive one. The server was fun and helpful, and the price was reasonable. BJ's is a very good value any time you are hungry.
