Been coming here a lot. Great friendly atmosphere. Very, nice workers and very quick when they are busy.
Even the owners will help when busy. I love this family business.
Ice cream is great and they have great prices.
My favorite is Strawberry Cheese Cake ice cream and a 3 scoop sundae.

We are open from June 1 thru late Sept. Our menu consists of pizzas (only one size - 16 inch - feeds 3-5 people), calzones, pasta, wraps, sandwiches, salads and desserts. We also have a 10" Gluten Free pizza and we have GF bread and buns for our sandwiches. For drinks, we have fountain drinks, iced tea (sweet and unsweet), beer (gluten free also), wine, fruit tea smoothies, specialty coffees and shakes. We also offer a dine-in special from 4-6 pm every day which consist of a cheese pizza and a pitcher of either beer or soda for $15.75. We have indoor seating as well as tables on the front deck and outside open dining with a great view of the mountains. As you enter, you will get a menu and be instructed to sit wherever you like and when you are ready to order, proceed to the register where you will place your order and pay at that time. You will be given an order number which will be called out once the order is ready. We prepare the food in the order that orders are taken and they are prepared fresh at that time. We do not jump tickets in order to do the easier ones or ones that take less time to prepare. We also do not have pre-prepared items. Occasionally, we will have some extra pizza slices prepared which can be bought immediately without having to wait. When we are in the busiest time of the summer season (late-June to mid-August), it is not uncommon for our customers to wait between 30 minutes to an hour for the food - just trying to be honest. The majority of our customers tell us that it is well worth the wait. We do not deliver but we take phone orders for carryout. Please call to verify our closing times which vary depending on the time of the season. We also close on Sunday so we can go to church and have our day of rest. Please come by and give us a try. We would be glad to serve you.

Poker Alice is a beloved restaurant from camping trips when we lived in CO. We haven't visited this part and this restaurant for 10 years and this time had kids in tow. We wanted to relive, and we did! The wait is long, yes, but...MoreThank you CEE for the kind compliments. Fun and Friendly. Hidden find for a wonderful range of menu items. Largest Beer selection in Lake City. Pizza is our mainstay, we also have delicious sandwiches and Pub Food. We have a 7-10 item menu and strive to make it fresh every day. Ten taps for your drinking enjoyment and several beers not available anywhere else in Lake City. We are located across from the park in downtown Lake City. We serve the only fresh pizza in Lake City. Nothing frozen and reheated here. We prep every day with fresh ingredients.

My family needed a great pizza and a place to relax, and boy did we find it here. Our pizza orders were all different including my request for a veggie with no cheese, which didn't raise an eyebrow. The hostess and waiter entertained our grandkids and the pizza was fantastic! Go here for a full bar and good beer selections. Menu includes salads and sandwiches too.

We are from South Louisiana and normally avoid ordering "Louisiana" food when traveling far from home. However, my wife and I both ordered La. type food in this restaurant in Lake City, Co.. We were really surprised that the food from the Lake City Cafe would rate as excellent in our home town of Baton Rouge, La.. The sausage and chicken gumbo, fried green tomato appetizer, fried catfish, hush puppies, and bacon, lettuce, and fried green tomato sandwich were all excellent. This place makes its own remolaude sauce which is well seasoned. Don't miss eating here when you are in Lake City.

We drove over from Creede. It was worth it in every way...the drive over the Rockys, the playful nature of the proprietors of Bruno's Restaurant and fantastic food! 3 of us... 3 different dinners: Tenderloin steak, Salmon Filet & Blackened Sole. All exceptional meals anywhere in the country. And the chocolate cake was so good we bought 2 extra pieces to take home.
