We are not frequent diners in family restaurants. The menu is enormous and the staff is incredibly accommodating. Our group of 13-14 included regulars and visiting family of couples and children. All of our special requests were met.
A special thank you for allowing a surprise anniversary cake to be stored and served to us. Additionally, thank you for letting us visit as you were closing for the evening.

Visited on a weekday afternoon for ice cream.
What we liked:
1. Adorable décor inside an old early 20th century house.
2. Craft items everywhere. It's just so cute!
3. Pleasant, courteous service.
4. You can get lunch or cold drinks or ice cream and other treats. We tried the caramel ice cream and the peach. Fabulous.
5. Take your ice cream out onto the back porch and sit in the shade overlooking front row seat at the Flambeau River. It's a pinch-me moment.
What we didn't like:
1. Nothing.
Would we return? Oh yes.

We ordered a grill chicken wrap, bacon cheeseburger, small sundae and a blizzard. The chicken wrap was good, the bacon cheeseburger was cold and the blizzard was not made correctly. I give them credit in that they remade the blizzard, so I got what I ordered. Menu items are overpriced for what you get. The gals running the place were friendly and helpful, but too many negatives. All in all, we don't need to go back.

Let me start by saying that the pizzas here are always very good. We noticed this time, however, that they cut way back on the amount of toppings. Considering what they charge for their pizzas, this was really disappointing. Our server was outstanding. Wish I would have asked for her name. We will return, but not as frequently.

We went on a Friday for their fish fry. The bartender was extremely friendly and welcoming. Our lady server was very nice and helpful. The fish was just ok. We had the blue gills and the cod. They were both very greasy. This was our first time here so we'll give it another try and order something else.

Very nice buffet. Lots to choose from and kept up. Very tasty and great value. Clean friendly staff and they're speaking Chineese back and forth to eachother.

The food is good, cooked when you order. Most of the waitresses are very nice and accommodating. Be prepared to wait a bit but it's worth it! We go there a lot. Love the tin ceilings!

Stopped in for breakfast on their opening day. The Corbett Omelet with hash browns was delicious as was the bread pudding with homemade butter rum sauce that they served for dessert! I see from their menu that they also offer poutine, a black bean burger and a 1# ultimate burger. Can't wait to give those a try when I return! The staff was also very friendly and courteous and I loved the local history theme which included vintage advertising and brief history of the town included on the menu! Can't wait to stop back!

We had a delicious green olive, pepperoni & sausage pizza. The crust is awesome. And they have Guinness in bottles! The only place in Ladysmith we've found with a dark beer choice!
