We went there during lunch and we had an Asian fusion-type, all-you-can eat-buffet for $8. It was not bad, but I had anticipated I could get curry in this restaurant. Since they were still putting the dishes out when we walked in around 11.30 a.m., the first dishes out were the regular carbohydrate laden food such as aramen noodles and deep fried dishes. I asked for curries and one young lady said it was next door that served curries. I thought it was the same place with a second name Curry restaurant. I will have to come again to find out.
It is a spacious restaurant, somewhat hidden from the view in a wet green area.There were around 10 dishes on buffet and then sashimi,which was not in great supply. A hot soup was brought to the table by the waitress while we were eating.
The price was very fair for the amount of food and the atmosphere was not bad either. I will have to go there again to find out about the curry connection.

The food here was a plesent surprise, especially the fish and chips which were yellow fin tuna, yummmmmm. I also had a burger which was very nice. They have a limited alcohol list, but what they have is good enough and reasonably priced. The choice for dinner was very good, cooked fresh and large portions.

What a cute little place! Came here for dinner on vacation. This place is a fusion of island, Japanese quaint and Southern diner. The waitresses were friendly and provided great service. The portions are large. The food is good, not mind blowing but yummy. It got quite crowded on a Monday evening. Will definitely come back. They are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here - on multiple days. It is a simple restaurant overlooking the lagoon. The service was excellent and the food was perfect every time. The sashimi is fabulous. Excellent value for the price. Very clean. Friendly service. It is a peaceful place to enjoy a meal and soak in the beauty of Pohnpei.

Grungy in the best possible way. Free pool tables, sashimi so fresh it's twitiching, Led Zep and Pink Floyd on the sound system, cool beers, jawdropping view, "not4free" wifi (ask Wayne). All you can eat sushi on Wednesdays. Fair prices. Tall tales, larger-than-life characters. You could write a novel around this place.

It is difficult to imagine a more cozy, romantic spot for dinner and drinks at sunset in the entire world, of which I have worked in/visited more than 100 countries! The service is superb. Staff does everything possible to accommodate every requirement. Prices are extremely reasonable!

This is the restaurant of the Yvonne’s hotel. It is mostly occupied during breakfast time because all hotel guests take their breakfast there. It is, however, not included in the hotel price. The restaurant opens for lunch and then closes until 5.30 p.m. for dinner.
I did not see too many lunch and dinner items on the menu. Japanese breakfast is pretty substantial with tuna, sushi, eggs and rice. Omelets are rather ho hum. Once I had grilled pork with vegetables and rice for dinner and it was tasty. The restaurant does not serve alcohol, but they did allow me to take my own wine into the restaurant.
The restaurant is spacious and has a nice atmosphere. There are around two young women who work there who belong to the extended family of the hotel owner. They are all very friendly and helpful. Sometimes they have fruits they serve you free of charge. If you bring a fruit, they would even cut and serve it to you. I also saw a large bunch of bananas hanging just outside of the restaurant for anyone to eat from. It was a really nice gesture, I thought.
There is Wi-Fi in the restaurant, which one can use with a prepaid card. There is free Wi-Fi in the lounge for hotel guests. Since I was a guest at the restaurant, I cannot answer the question if the restaurant guests can also go to the hotel lobby and use the free Wi-Fi.
If you do not stay in Yvonne hotel, I do not think it is worth your while to go to this restaurant for meals because they do not have much of variety and they do not serve alcohol.

View is excellent but we also wanted good food. Not cheap. My wife's fish was under cooked. My barbecue ribs tasted good but where cold. The potato was cold as well but very interesting done. I think they had an issue in getting the dinners out at the same time and mine sat.
Did not go back and I was on the island for two weeks.

This is one of the more famous place in Pohnpei for dinner..the restaurant is by the lagoon... the bar has a wide range of choice of drinks and beverages but you should not miss the catch of the day in their menu and for me, their burritos are great...not to mention their sashimi and poke.....

I can't say enough good things about this cute family owned restaurant. They have different kinds of ramen with homemade noodles. Their crepes are to die for, my favorite was honey sugar with vanilla ice cream. Other things on their menu: spaghetti, gyoza, omelets, fried rice. They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. There's a view of the water. The staff and owners are warm and welcoming. Just grab a taxi and say "Nett Ramen"! You won't regret it.
