This place is very popular as I understood, as they are always busy. I would advise to reserve the table in advance. The prices are ok, the food is average, nothing special.

You could expect high variety of food from Japanese to European and Russian. They also provide business lunch, where you can have lunch for affordable prices. Never had bad experience here. Always good food

Right downstairs from the best hotel in Kirov, Hotel Central, we threw a family get together here and also dined for lunch. Food was delicious, prices were reasonable, and service was quite good.

Lovely wood and leather interior, a smoking and nonsmoking section. Extensive menu of soups, salads and meat dishes, including quite a list of sausages. 8 types of draft beer at very reasonable prices. Excellent service from ladies in Bavarian costume. Very pleasant experience overall.

Если Вы хотите посидеть и пообщаться, то "Колесо"- это не то место. Кухня приличная, но довольно острая.

I had a dinner in this restaurant during a business trip in Kirov. After staying for two weeks in this city and visiting almost all the recommended restaurants, Symposium was a real surprise. Not only because the food was excellent, the drinks great, the wine fantastic, the desserts amazing, the staff friendly and the atmosphere great, with relaxing music in the backgrounds but because of quality in everything. The lounge area is a unique room where you can enjoy a cigar and some of the best spirits of the world. I will certainly go back there one day... Thanks..

In Russia it's traditional to take people out on your birthday instead of the other way around. Although usually this compels me to hide inside and spend all day thanking people for their Facebook birthday wishes, this year I took my wife and her parents out to Vasnetsov, a pre-revolutionary themed restaurant in downtown Kirov. Everyone was impressed with the interior of the restaurant, the extensive menu, the friendly wait staff and the presentation of the food. It is a real gem in a big city with few fine dining options. The total bill for four people who had a first and second course plus dessert and drinks ended up being 5,700 rubles before tip, a bargain by Moscow standards. Dining is casual although I wouldn't say tourists make up a significant percent of the clientele.
