I lived in Jinotepe for four months and visited Buen Provecho several times. It is a nice restaurant for traditional Nicaraguan food. Most days you can sit and order off the menu, but sometimes, especially on weekends, they have a buffet and you choose what you want off the buffet - a variety of meats, rice, plantains, and cold salads.
Open for breakfast, lunch and supper.
They also have pizza available for order and Delivery.

We are a Pizzeria, we offer the Neapolitan style pizza (thin crust) all hand-made, also have garlic bread sticks and foccacia, we also are a Bed & Breakfast just recently, we have ten double and triple rooms insuite, AC optional, free WiFi and Continental breakfast.
Went out with a large group of friends, one of which chose this place because he knows the owner. There was about 30 of us in the group so we essentially took over the place but there was still plenty of more Seating. We started out with some bread sticks and dipping sauce. The bread was crunchy on the outside but still soft in the middle. The tomato dipping sauce was nothing spectacular, just tomato flavor no hit of any spices. They also brought out a bread pizza (think Indian nan) with olive oil to drizzle on. This was much better than the bread sticks.
Then was had several different pizza brought to the table from plain cheese, to pepperoni, to pepperoni jalapeno, to sausage & Canadian bacon, etc. All were thin crusted, crisp, not soft. All tasted good (my favorite was their version of a meat lovers pizza), but all thin on toppings compared to what you'd get in the USA but that seems to be the norm in Nicaragua.
Choice of beer is limited to the two national beers: Vitoria and Tona. Both light colored beers, Tona much superior in my opinion. We did not opt for dessert though they sounded good.
The atmosphere/decor was very nice. Although you're right on the street and with the windows and doors open for the evening breeze it can make for a lot of noise, especially when the Festival of San Sebastien is taking place.
This is a surprisingly good place in the middle of now where Nicaragua. I would go back again.

'Top restaurant in town' doesn't mean too much if you know Diramba - there isn't really any competition, but this restaurant is actually worthy of comment. It's a great spot to try Nica food, which is prepared with quality ingredients & hygenically. If you've not already had it, try the beef or chicken jalepeño, both of which are awesome here. An ice cold beer makes for a great accompaniment, but avoid their cocktails, especially the margarita, which tasted strangely medicinal & rather undrinkable. Friendly staff & pleasant local style ambience.

My teenage son said his chicken was excellent and the rest of the family enjoyed their meals. Pleasant open dining area and reasonable prices

The core of everything we serve and do is passion. Cafe Paris was born as a concept and that concept became a reality with our first location in the climate cool city of Jinotepe. Our nook, as we prefer to call it, is the perfect place to enjoy delicious organic free trade coffee, a place were our customers can relax, read a book, enjoy our complementary wifi, while sipping a cup of joe, or cappuccino. Our chefs also craft delicious meals available carte blanche. Come and experience the difference, visit Cafe Paris.
A friend told me about the place, so I had to check it out. WOW, another pleasant surprise in Jinotepe! Lovely, relaxed atmosphere with pretty good coffee drinks, pastries, and other treats: essentially, it's a nice escape from the heat and craziness of Nicaragua. I also like the story of how the business was started: the owner went to Paris with his mom and loved it, so he wanted to bring Paris to Jinotepe for others to enjoy!

The owner worked at a Japanese restaurant in Puerto Rico (or Costa Rica) for 17 years and wanted to move back home...why not open your own sushi restaurant? Maki Maki is a welcome addition to Jinotepe's growing food scene: a Parisian cafe, best vegetarian restaurant (Malaysian), good inexpensive Chinese food, an American style diner, Salvadoran pupusas. The restaurant's got a clean, modern design and chill atmosphere: just be aware of the hours they're open (typically after 5pm: bummer, no lunch specials). Lots of variety and fills you up for the price. Now they even serve it fresh at the Hiper La Colonia supermarket next to Las Galerias shopping center in Managua. You can't go wrong!

Mr.Seafood as its name suggests is the Lord of seafood, with over 25 years of experience, we handle seafood from pacific and atlantic oceans. We export quality , our cuisine is a combination of gourmet and the traditional cuisine of the beach, but even more important is that we have a variety of grilled dishes that distinguish us from other restaurants, our gold cuts of red meat are a real treat!
Ok I’ve lived in Nicaragua for near 2 years, not far from this out-of-the-way location. Stopped on a trip through town looking for ANYWHERE to eat as I was starving.
You walk to the back of this unassuming facade and WOW! I never expected to walk into a bustling restaurant with crushed shell flooring specializing in seafood. It isn’t just good, it’s our if this world and could compete with any western world restaurant!
I had red snapper topped with shrimp with a delicious sauce, and although the prices may seem a bit high at first, the portions es Muy Grande! I want to meet this chef and kudus to the owners!
I can’t wait for my next trip through here. I’m stopping every time!
