Top 10 restaurants in Indian Trail, United States

April 14, 2018 Nicolette Lion

Indian Trail is a suburban town in Union County, North Carolina, United States. Founded on March 12, 1861, the town holds a history of traders traveling along the "Indian Trail," which ran from Petersburg, Virginia, to the Waxhaw Indians, and gold mining. Indian Trail was first a farming community; however, German and Scot-Irish settlers began to move into the area due to its geographical location. In 1874, the Seaboard Coast Line Railroad was built between the cities Charlotte, North Carolina and Monroe, North Carolina. The railroad, which runs through the town, brought prosperity to the area. Indian Trail was incorporated as a town in 1907, with established city limits based upon a one-half mile radius from the intersection of Indian Trail Road and the Seaboard Railroad. Indian Trail has grown rapidly in the 21st Century: a 2011 CNN article stated that Indian Trail's census count jumped from 1,942 in 1990 to 33,518 in 2010. Every Fourth of July the town holds an annual parade which is one of the biggest parades in the Charlotte metropolitan area.

Family oriented, it's a great place to go with friends, family, solo or business.
They have expanded the restaurant due to the many people that visit it. We have been going there frequently for over 13 years. They have a waiter called Victor that makes our day every time he helps us. He has known us for so many years and has seen my kids and now grand daughter grow.
I am married to a Mexican and I can say their food most resembles real Mexican cooking.
They will not seat you until your party is all there. Many times the wait is long, yet people sit outside waiting however time is needed to eat there.
The general manager is very attentive and there are many repeat customers and long time employees.

They have many faithful, mostly American patrons, because it's still a family oriented location. A few years ago, when Indian trail was allowed to sell alcohol, they opted to not implement it.
Alcohol is in many restaurants the highest profit commodity, and many local restaurants were so happy to be able to sell it after many years fighting for the permit to do it. I think they know, they continue to attract families in a safe setting and it shows every weekend.
Recommend the food and prices have increased, but still reasonable for great food.

Had a company function catered by RSBBQ for 120 people. Everyone loved the pork and chicken and all the sides. Bubba was great at getting everything there and setup. Oh, and had best price of all the BBQ places I researched. Thanks RSBBQ for making this a great day!

I tried this place without any idea if it would be good or not and I am glad I did. The ice cream is delicious, the service is quick and friendly and myself and my daughters love to hang out at the picnic tables and eat our ice cream and chat. My daughter has decided that her birthday cake will definitely be from Brusters this year!

I have been passing this place for about 6 months and finally stopped. I got the shredded chicken nachos and build your own bowl...the nachos were humongous! So big that the wife and kid picked at them and I had to take the bowl home because by the time they were gone I was full!

I got pork in the bowl and it was really good (heated up at home and still good.) The wife got a burrito the size of her head that she loved and the kids got chicken fingers. The fries were OK but the tenders were not breaded, just seasoned. They had no taste and were dry. I can't knock a Latin place for bad tenders as much as you can complain that McDonald's had a crappy apple pie..what did you expect...

.We got 4meals (and mojito) for $30...very happy, good value, good service and great food. Very impressed.

My granson told me of a really good place to take them for a special treat, called Sweet Frogs. I had never heard of it , he show me how to get there from my house. I was so surprised as he is only 5 years old.I took a 2 yr. old, 5 yr., and a 11year old and boy was it a treat. They ate 9.00 dollars worth and it was the best 9.00 I've spent. It is a really neat store ,they let you fix your own and they had the best time and there was a young worker that made them feel special. Had a great experience!

Bonefish Grill

I’ve been to the restaurant a number of times while traveling, always a middle of the road Cain I would say. This last visit was not good, the seating was so close together everyone was bumping elbows, the actual seats are about as comfortable as church pews. The Bang Bang shrimp is a seafood version of buffalo wings, shrimp was tasteless. The seared Tuna steak had NO flavor whatsoever, previously frozen and poor quality.
